Dead Bob’s is an entirely under rated establishment. I live in Manatee County, but my parents live only a few blocks away and in those times that I had to have a bracer before going to my parent’s house I would stop at Bob’s. In those visits I gave Bob’s menu a look and noticed that the offerings were pretty much simple fare, but when I looked at what was coming out of the kitchen I knew I had to give their food a try. In the times I’ve ordered anything off the menu it was exactly as described or better. The portions are always enough to fill anyone up or make a “go box” a necessity. The atmosphere is casual and then some. I’ve seen sport coats sitting beside flip flops as conversation and laughter went on in the background.. a very comfortable place to relax in any afternoon or evening. You’ll be surprised at the drink prices as well.

Had a Cuban Burger, it was the so appetizing and delicious. The smoked pork was piled high. I had enough to add to my rice and black beans, which was an extra bonus. The rice and beans were just perfect for a side. YUM!

I heard the food here was top tier. I was a bit skeptical when I first arrived on a Saturday.
It's a loud and rowdy bar. The seats are all high tops and cheap, the space is small, and the crowd/music is loud with a couple drinks in
Due to in the middle of work, I wasn't drinking so I sat outside, against the busy road. Not really impressed with the location/place but after ordering the smash burger with fries my entire view on the place changed.
This chef doesn't mess around. Brought the food out hot and fresh. After taking a couple bites, I wasn't lead astray. Great burger, good ingredients, but a bit on the heavy side with the sauce. It would go great with a couple of drinks, so I guess they play to their audience.
I definitely will be back again, probably on a slower time try out some of the other menu.

They are adding false charges and separate charges at that, other than the original bill to ppls credit cards!! This happened to my friend last year! Decided to give them another try and NOPE! they put a false charge and even tipped themselves on my card in which I’m disputing with my bank.. I never signed not authorized that charge .I paid my bill which was a separate charge… check ur bank accounts if u swipe ur card here I will NEVER go back not to mention the food has gone down hill and the drinks are weak!

This is my second time coming from Tampa to order take out and was refused service .The waiter told us we had to order at the bar and we tried but was told we can’t . On top of that a lady we seen and had a conversation with in the parking lot just ordered take out not even 15 minutes before us coming. Had family from Ohio ready to try the food here. I spoke so highly about this place but I will not return me or my family.
