The new owner is terrible!! The service is horrendous. I went in to place a to-go order because the phone was busy and I was unable to call the order in. I waited 20 minutes before the owner approached and asked if she could help. Once I told her I wanted to place an order she said she would be right back. Another 20 minutes went by where she never acknowledged me again. I chalked it up to them being busy so I left. The next night I went earlier thinking they would be less busy and I would receive better service. I was wrong! There was only one hibachi table with customers, otherwise the place was dead. I placed my sushi order to-go, thinking sushi doesn’t take long to prepare, right? Nope, wrong again. It took over an hour to get my order. After a half hour I asked the guy preparing the sushi if he remembered making my order. Thinking maybe it was done but they didn’t realize I was there waiting for it. His response, “I don’t know ask that lady.” In my head I’m thinking but you are the one preparing it?? The new owner runs around in circles but has no idea what she is doing. A young girl in her teens is left running the place and I give her credit she works her butt off. I overheard that the owner keeps most the tips that this young employee should be getting. So a piece of advice, if you go here bring cash to give this girl yourself, otherwise she is doing all the work and is not being rewarded for all the hard work she does. I’ve been going here for years and the previous owner was amazing. You were greeted right when you walked in and even though this place is not appealing to the eyes, the service was top notch. Sad to say that this is no longer the case and they will no longer be getting my business.

I'm not one to leave poor reviews, but this place is something else. The sign with half of the lights burned out was a little off-putting, but sometimes dumpy places have the best food so we went in for dinner and a show, and were told we'd have to wait until the chef was done with another group which was totally fine. The table and chairs along with the floor were all super gross and sticky, but again we'd hoped for some great food. We ordered some drinks and were told there is no liquor, so we ordered bottled beers instead. 2 of us took a drink of ours to find them very skunky, so we looked at the labels to find that they were 2 and 3 YEARS old. I asked the waitress if they had anything a little fresher, and she argued that they "just got" this beer and disappeared for 10 minutes. She finally returned with another bottle of beer, which she had attempted to scrape the date off of, and it had the same skunky taste. Like I wasn't going to notice it tasted like dirty dishwater if she scraped the date off? I said she could take the beer and I'd be good with water, which turned out to also be awful. Never ever have I had water this bad, and I drink out of rivers and lakes regularly. We then spotted some cockroaches scurrying around under our stools, so at this point we had reservations about the freshness of our steak and seafood we'd ordered, and just decided to pay our tab and leave. 10 more minutes went by with no waitress, so we just dropped $10 on the table and walked out. I've been to thousands of restaurants and would eat food out of the trash if hungry so I'm not a picky eater by any means, but this is the first time in my life that I've ever walked out of a restaurant. Honestly had to go home and shower after leaving.

We went there for a celebration dinner and had a wonderful time. They were able to get us right in and everything was delicious, the service was fantastic, the chef was lovely and the kids really enjoyed watching him cook our food. We can't wait to go back!

I waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for the chef to finally come start making my food. And it was 31 dollars for 6 pieces of shrimp and all rice. I would not recommend this restaurant unless you want to wait 2 hours for you to just get a tiny bowl of soup and a tiny salad.

4 star for service, our cook kept forgetting stuff and took forever on delivery. We got our sides 45 mins before our main meal. Its not bad as long as you dont mind the wait. Go with people. Small talk makes time pass by a lil quicker. Once you get past all that its not bad. Cons: they charge you per drink, no refills. Which they should considering the price of the food...

This place has seen better days!!!I'm not sure if there was a change in ownership but the level of service is nowhere near where it was pre-pandemic.I've been to Edo several times before and always had a pleasant experience but not this last time.On a Saturday night, there was only 1 wait staff, and she was overwhelmed and disorganized even though there were maybe 15 customers in the entire place. After about 10 minutes of waiting, the waitress finally came to take us to a table, give us menus and take drink orders. We were then told that the only beers available were domestic, no Japanese beers available.It took another 20 minutes for her to circle back to our table.We placed our orders and waited another 30+ minutes for the food to arrive and only 2 of us got our dishes, the 3rd in our party had to wait another 10 minutes for their lobster roll to be brought to the table.The food was mediocre at best. The beef and chicken were dry, the lobster sushi roll looked like it was put together by someone who had never done sushi before and you had to really look to find the lobster.Additionally the dirty goldfish tank next to the sushi station was really off-putting.All in all, an extremely disappointing experience. We really should've left and gone somewhere else. We'll never go back.

The combination of savory and sweet makes Edo's rolls AMAZING! Their rolls have significantly changed over the years. They are huge, making their portion size match the value of each roll. They use fresh ingredients to make each one. They also offer Hibachi tables, if you prefer stir-fry. They do offer a huge menu, in addition to Hibachi and Sushi, to include Bento Boxes and plenty of appetizers, soups, and salads as well. The menu is HUGE!!! Please see pictures. Best part of my dinner, as always, is spending time with my loving husband. ❤️ 4 stars because we were served by someone in training who was not being trained. Haha! It made for an interesting dining experience for sure!Parking: Plenty of free parking

Extremely disappointed with this restaurant. The table was sticky, the salt and pepper shakers were stickier. They did not honor one of our party’s gift card because of the new ownership we were told. To top it all there was a surprise service charge of 18% that we were told the new owner is charging on top of the tip. Will not go back.

Just left this establishment after waiting for over an hour for any food. We thought to give it a chance only because we thought it was just a short staffed night the last time we came here. Walked in and sat at a regular table like we always have for hibachi. Waiter took our drinks and we asked for a hibachi menu and was told that we HAD to sit at a hibachi table even though only 1 of us was ordering hibachi. We asked how long it would take to get food over at the hibachi table and was told “only 20 minutes , I promise” after explaining that we waited 2.5 hours the last time we were here. Well 45 mins after we sat over on the hibachi table , we decided to ultimately pay for whatever drinks we got and just leave. Told the waiter that we would like the check and he acted totally confused and walked away. We walked up to the counter after having no help at the table. Waited over 5 minutes just for the new owner to even acknowledge that we were trying to pay and instead, shooed us out saying to just leave. I can confidently say that I will never recommend this place or come back ever again. Just take your money to a company that will actually take care of you.

I use to love this place but hadn't been there in a few years. The food is still good and the chef was great. The service on the other hand was awful. There were only 2 waiters and neither knew what they were doing. It took longer to get the check than the entire meal. Oh and a can of coke was $4.99, yes $4.99. We waited forever while this lady crammed as many people as she could to the only 2 tables available. I asked what was going on she stated the place was bought out 8 months ago and she had only been there a couple of months and the other waiter just started. Will not be going back!!!

VERY long wait and slow service don’t come if you have other plans. We sat for 30 minutes before being asked for our drink orders. Owners added 18% to our bill for “taxes” applied to any party over 5. Food was good but definitely not worth the wait or the price.

I went to dinner last night with my 2 daughters. A woman came around when it was time to pay with a handheld card reader. She listed our items and then showed me the screen to add a tip so I chose 20%. My $120 dinner became a $179 charge. I was only able to review after i paid abs finally got a receipt. After i left and looked at the receipt there was an 18% service charge that was NEVER mentioned. When I called they kept saying it was on the menu that parties 6 and over automatically got the charge. There were only 3 of us and I was never advised of this charge. This is theft. They are hiding this charge from customers hoping that we won't realize what they are doing before they steal our money.

I love this place. Been coming here literally all my life and the food and service is always amazing. It is also just a quiet, peaceful place to eat. I will continue to go there in the near and far future.

Been going here for over 10 years. Recently they have new owners, new smaller menu and they don't know their own menu. Ordered from the sushi menu and didn't receive what I ordered. They had specials on the menu but was confused on what to make. Sad overall, was our go too for sushi, and now have to find somewhere else.
