Had the Demi-God Burger and it was absolutely insane! Definitely the most delicious burger I’ve had in the St Pete / Tampa area. Burger was cooked perfectly and the buns were not soggy. The fries were perfectly crispy as well! I will definitely be coming again. Also the pricing is very fair.

We were looking for a place that had a burger menu selection and good reviews. This one stood out so we tried it. We were not disappointed. There are numerous creative burgers to select from the menu and the ones we had were delicious. Service was good. I would suggest perhaps a little more lighting as it was dim inside and at the table.

Seating is sparse. Food is good. Prices are outrageous and service was worse. $73 for two people with meals and apps each. We got our apps before our drinks?? We had to ask for our drinks a second time to even get them...
The restaurant is not that big, but flagging down our waitress took too long. We were almost done with the apps by the time we got our drinks.
I can understand the restaurant was busy but this place has a BAR. The other waitresses basically told us off "Not my table, not my problem" Like MA'AM are you for real telling me off because I never got my drink? This was $85 including the tip and this is the service I get? I can sympathize with the restaurant industry but don't give customers lip because we weren't served the bare minimum.
I won't be coming back. Neither will my lads. Enjoy your large crowds and poor seating. I wish the managers and line cooks the best ♥️

Cute and mellow with a slight sports bar feel and fantastic burgers. You can ask for burgers on lettuce if you’re GF or lowcarb.
Vegetarian options: They have a pretty tasty portobello patty

I’ve been walking past this place and finally decided to give it a shot. At first glance I thought this is my type of bar. Low lights, a divey vibe, with GREAT food. Omg the bacon and blue is fantastic!!! Fries are so good too!!

Engine No. 9 had been frequently recommended to me by friends and various social sites, yet I haven't gotten around to going until today.
Now I ask myself "Why did I wait?"
The service is great, the food is great, and the atmosphere is very laid back; I think I'm going to be a regular here.
Give it a shot, you can't go wrong!

Burgers were phenomenal. Only plane serving food downtown after 10:30 which is crazy. But thank you.

Amazing burgers. Really fresh minced meat and a great selection of burger options. The restaurant also acts as a bar with TVs that play live sports. Great venue!

The Burger That Put Out My Hunger Fire**
If there’s one thing Engine 9 knows, it's how to fight fires—especially the raging inferno that was my appetite. Walking into Engine 9, I wasn’t just hungry; I was a five-alarm disaster waiting to happen. And the burger? It showed up like a firefighter, ready to rescue my taste buds.
I ordered their Black Flag burger, and let me tell you, it arrived looking like it had been built by a team of burger engineers. The bun? Soft as a fireman’s Dalmatian. The patty? Juicy enough to extinguish the drought in California. And the cheese? Melted like it had been hit with the heat of a thousand grills.
But let’s talk about that smoky, flame-grilled flavor. It was as if the burger had taken a field trip to the nearest fire station and been personally kissed by the flames. Every bite had me wondering if I should be calling 911—because this thing was criminally good.
The toppings were on fire acme took the burger to whole new level.
By the time I was done, my hunger had been so thoroughly extinguished that all that was left was the satisfied sizzle of a job well done. Engine 9, you’ve turned burger-making into a heroic act.
In conclusion, Five stars, ten extinguishers, and a whole lot of respect.
