Mama G's was great! There's an assortment of fresh baked goods - loads of bread, pretzels, croissants, etc. staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee at one of their in house tables. This is now my weekend coffee shop stop.

For me, there is no other coffee shop I go to in this area. Nobody does it better, the staff are always cheerful with quick service. This is what coffee should taste like always. If you're in the area this is definitely one of the places you should stop by to get some coffee. It beats the sugar loaded Starbucks drinks that everyone seems to over indulge in.

Definitely worth the stop if you're wanting a quick bite and a good (& decently priced) cup of coffee!I was there around 10am on a Thursday. All pastries still available and there are a variety to choose from! Sweet & savory.I got a cinnamon roll, an apple twist, a cheese danish, and a ham & cheese croissant. Also purchased a cappuccino to go. You can most definitely tell these are all made in house! Never had a croissant so flaky and fresh tasting. The espresso tasted great! Not burnt tasting at all. They offer to warm anything you buy - even if to go. Staff if super friendly and efficient!

This place is soooo good! Everything is fresh and homemade, authentic style german bread and pastries. There coffee is very strong and made to order. The restaurant is always very clean, not very busy and the staff is very friendly. Another hidden gem!

I've been here twice now and ordered quite a few different pastries, a loaf of sourdough bread, a schnitzel dinner, and coffee. Super satisfied with everything. Try the jager schnitzel dinner you will not be disappointed!! Looking forward to becoming a regular here.

I absolutely love this place!! During the quarantine I would go and get the delicious pastries for my neighbors, and they were always so grateful! I love the poppy seed and the cheese and fruit danish! The almond croissant is really good too, and I didn't get to try the chocolate croissants it was gone so fast!! The cold brew coffee is as really good too! The Jamaican flavored one doesn't even need sugar! The staff is always nice and friendly and the bread and lunch specials are to die for! I definitely recommend checking them out, but get there early Bc they sell out fast!!

When I was just a babe, mom and dad brought me here. I was too little to taste but my eyes sure did feast! A little while longer dad surprised me and mom with breakfast in bed, he called it mother's day, but I call it best day ever! Our breakfast was so yummy that I left my breast milk buffet to munch. Mom's favorite is the multi-grain croissant, of which I insisted on sharing. I also got to taste the Nutella croissant, and dad loved that one too. Dad put a loaf of sourdough on the counter so I'm pretty excited to have that later with my lunch. Mom and dad said everything they have had here is so delicious. I think I need to keep a list of all the things I try. Mom and dad, when are we going back? What should we try next time? - Bry yelps (9 months old)

Mama G's is a small German bakery and coffee shop located in Kenneth City. The stand-alone building is hard to miss and is reminiscent of mid-century modern design. Not many locals have discovered this local gem, so it is not yet crowded on the weekends for breakfast. Because they are a German bakery, they have the best Apple Strudel that I have ever had. This is a true bakery with sweet and savory items. They even make their own pretzels and whole loaves of bread for the week. The employees can explain all of the breads to you by nationality, and even explain the taste of some of the breads by region. I was very impressed with their knowledge and presentation. I love the rustic vibes here and the large window-lined front of the shop. The baked goods are not expensive, like some of the downtown bakeries. And, they have some trendy pastry items as well. Mama G's is definitely going to be a weekend spot for me.

I've been wanting to try this place for a little while, so glad we did! We had their German lunch, which is offered on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. I had the schnitzel with potato salad! Fantastic!! We shared an apple strudal that was amazing. I bought a sourdough loaf and nut strudel to go...I can't wait to try them!

If you walk into a pastry shop, and only order one pastry, did you even go? Can you give an honest review? Absolutely not! That's why when we walked in, all wide eyed to the selection, my wife and I literally through our diet out the window and selected whatever we wanted! All said we ordered 5 different pastries and a loaf of sour dough. Nutella, chocolate and gauva pastries for me, and 3 berry pastries of which I will not attempt the spelling of lol! We loved every single one of them! Now we were champs and tried them all when we got home through the day. Be careful when attempting this! They are delicious, however some can be heavy. That's not a bad thing, it's just a reminder that Mama G believes in filling the pastry lol! The sour dough loaf was also fantastic! We cut a few pieces off and through into the oven for a minute just to get toasty, a little butter and yea, goood. I forgot, I did try the sausage breakfast pastry, it was alright, but I won't be getting it again. But my eyes are going for the bacon next time! Definitely a must if in the area!

Felt like some sweets for the holidays so popped in to Mama G's to see what they offer. Everything looked amazing so it was almost an impossible task to decide what to try. We bought a half loaf of stollen, both varieties of lebcuchen cookies (German gingerbread) & a bag of heart-shaped gingerbread cookies with raspberry jam in the center. The heart cookies have so many amazing holiday flavors & might be the best cookies I've ever tasted .... until I tried the regular lebcuchen cookie, lol. The lebcuchen is a soft almond cookie with amazing flavor! The stollen was light, airy & filled with fruits & nuts - so delicious. German gingerbread flavors are different & much better than what Americans think of as gingerbread so try some. Daily lunch specials & breads are also on the menu. I definitely want to try some of the lunches, especially the schnitzel. The lunch prices seem reasonable. Some of the bakery items seem a little pricy, however these are specialty items & I did not have to buy an airline ticket to get them. I will definitely be back! Still need to taste the chocolate lebcuchen - trying to wait at least 5 min, but probably won't make it.

Everything I've tried here is superior. Try the European style cheesecake, not too sweet. Strudels are perfect. Prices are decent.

Just found this place off the yelp app. Authentic German Bakery. Met the Owner who emigrated with her parents from Bavaria 17 years ago. Father was a Baker who allways wanted to live in USA. So this is a family tradition. Fresh breads, pies and all the works. Love the Apple pie and had a piece of strudel that I loved. Had a really good cup of coffee. I definately recommend this place. Really nice service oriented folk!
