I have been a regular and have seen this place go from one of my favorites to now a disappointment. Prices way too high for now mediocre, greasy food. Decor is nothing special, and many workers seem uninterested in helping even when the restaurant has few customers. But, there are some workers that do excellent service. Food service is prompt, but food now has become either room-temp - making me question the freshness - or sometimes undercooked. Raising prices may be a necessity to survive in this economy, but food quality has noticeably suffered due to reasons unknown to me

We have been coming here for years, and the dim sum is unforgettable! We’ve ordered from each of the menus and it’s always been a delicious experience. When you see those carts coming around, ORDER EVERYTHING! Your tastebuds will thank you. 😊

I’m from Houston, and we eat dim sum frequently in Houston and California. I’m used to busy, fast-paced dim sum rooms—but what we experienced here wasn’t “busy,” it was disorganized.

The most alarming issue was food safety. I ordered a dim sum dish and found what appeared to be a piece of a Brillo pad in the food. I spoke directly to the owner in Vietnamese, so there was no misunderstanding. She immediately took the dish into the kitchen, and then everything unraveled. Staff looked confused, orders were being discussed back and forth, and at one point the waiter tried to re-enter the same dish as if nothing had happened until the owner stepped in and stopped it. While I appreciate her intervening, it felt more like damage control than a real attempt to address the problem properly.

The overall operation felt chaotic. At one point, a guy carrying dishes into the kitchen slipped and fell on what appeared to be a wet, slippery floor. Thankfully he seemed okay, but it only reinforced how poorly managed and unsafe the back-and-forth traffic was.

Service was equally lacking. Our drinks were never refilled—not once. Basic table service was nonexistent.

We also tried to order roast duck from the menu and were told by our waiter that there was none available. About 15 minutes later, the table behind us ordered roast duck from a different waitress, who confirmed they had it. We watched her confront our waiter, tell him to check the back, and suddenly a duck appeared. By then, we were already halfway through our meal, and the experience was already soured.

Maybe being from Houston means I’m spoiled by well-run dim sum restaurants, but this wasn’t about high expectations. This was about communication, organization, and basic competence. I won’t be returning the next time I’m in Tampa.

Worst meal I've ever had. Everything was cold, yet somehow overcooked. Service was nonexistent. I couldn't finish anything because I was going to throw up over how bad it was. It ruined my whole day.

The custimer service at Ha Long Bay Restaraunt in Dunedin was poor. this was the 2nd time I've experienced bad customer service here. They failed. Will not be back.

We had been there before a group of us ladies of 5. This time they automatically added a gratuity. Last time they didn't! Passed me off and I told him to take it off which he did. I won't be back!

Dim sum was not up to par at all. Food was cold and meat was tough. Flavors were all about the same. Skin on dumplings were thick. The staff was very unorganized. Took a long time to get to our table and order food…The only deft dish was the yellow pancake dish we ordered. Won’t be back for awhile.

This Chinese and Vietnamese restaurant is busy with locals. We loved the carts going around with dim sum, steamed rice, fumplings and more. Our wait person served us water and Beer and oatiently waited for us to order. We received a few items but my soup never arrived . They had run out of green tea and we tried a delicious getanium tea.
The fish aquarium is a great place fir kids to sit and be entertained as well as for people waiting for a table on this busy Sunday
