Nice English pub! Got the bangers and mash and my bf got the curry. Both super delish. They have specials- Tuesday was a free pint with curry. Can’t wait to come back and try out more things on the menu.

This local favorite attracts everyone from people who go for the live music on Thursdays ( Jazz & Country) to people who like the Happy Hour. It's packed during season. The menu is standard British fare with great pot pies and curries. To balance it out, your classic Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and grilled veggies are an option. Wine and Beers on tap. ..bottled beers. Horse & Jockey can be relied upon for consistently good service, food and pub ambiance.

Not just English food! Great restaurant with a bar and outdoor patio. The best comfort food, and it's near the beach, making it ideal for the locals and vacationers.

Lovely pub with all the trimmings. Never been to England, but I hope they all have the same feel as The Horse & Jockey. Very attentive wait staff. Good specials. Haven't had a bad thing from the menu! Would recommend!

The Decor, Ambiance, and Atmosphere are very nice. The people working there are efficient. The Clientele is good as reflected in the area ...close to affluent beach areas. The Drinks were good.

It's what you would picture for an English pub. It's dark, it smells like beer and there at least 2 guys at the bar which look to have been there for hours.
Fish and chips were good.

My family of four had an incredible meal at The Horse and Jockey in St. Pete! We ordered the fish and chips, beef & ale pie, chicken tikka Mo Saleh, and a kid’s burger… every single dish was spot on.

The fish was perfectly crispy, the pie rich and flavorful, and the chicken tikka had just the right amount of spice. Even the kid’s burger was a hit! You can really taste the quality and care in every bite.

Friendly service, cozy pub atmosphere, and amazing food, we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We walked in and had a surprising smell of light throw up, not overpowering, but noticeable. However we had good drinks besides the alcohol which was not amazing, but bearable. We asked for fried pickles which didn’t come out, our food was very high quality and delicious, which is what saved this restaurant. We told the waitress about the missing pickles in which she proceeded to bring them out and put them on the house, unfortunately they were not very good. Overall we would not return due to the other restaurants in the area being better. It is worth going and seeing your own opinion but be warned if you have a bad tolerance for smells.

Horse & Jockey nails the English pub vibe while offering a globally inspired menu that pleasantly surprised me. I was lucky to dine family-style with a large group, which meant I got to sample a bit of everything, and everything was good.

The menu blends British classics with international flair. Think proper pasties and Scotch eggs (those golden beauties boiled eggs wrapped in sausage and fried to perfection), alongside flavorful plates like chicken tikka masala and Argentinian-style skirt steak topped with chimichurri. It’s comfort food with character.

Beyond the food, the drinks menu goes beyond the expected beer taps. The old fashioned was one of the better ones I’ve had locally. Even the wine selection held up nicely.

Whether you're going for a cozy pint or a full meal, Horse & Jockey delivers. I'll definitely be back.
