The service and presentation of the food was fantastic. I had the scallop risotto . It was good but a little too much salt and I think there was only one scallop on there cut up into small pieces.

Why isn’t this place packed all the time? The chef beat Bobby Flay and I can clearly see why. Everything is made from scratch. I had the tasting menu on my first visit, then the short rib mezzaluna and braised octopus (beyond tasty) on my next visit. The ramp agnolotti, ribeye are phenomenal. The service is top notch. I’ve walked by this place multiple times and I wish I dined here sooner. The flavors are unlike anything I’ve tasted and IL Ritorno blows every Italian...

What can we say? Chef David Benstock is on top of his game. His pasta dishes are always superb - perfect pasta, sauces full of flavor and whimsy.
On our most recent visit, we had the ramp Agnolotti, which was spot-on. But the real stars were the appetizers: Spanish octopus and mussels with lamb njuda and Calabrian chilies. And Chef Benstock's version of a burrata salad (thanks, chef!). Oh, wow! Amazing bold flavors and lots of levels.
