The owner of this place is super unprofessional and rude towards guests. I am disgusted. It was my first time going and I wouldn’t go back. I work in the service industry and I’m not suggesting this place to anyone. Actually, I’ll tell them not to visit.

I discovered this place by picking up uber passengers & decided to try it out. I’ve always loved a local neighborhood gem “Cheers” type bar. In the past month & a half I think I’ve visited 5 different times and I’ve enjoyed each & every time. I was warmly welcomed by Barb. She’s an excellent bartender and very great with people. I could tell she had skills right away! I also really love Morgan.. all the girls there are nice but I particularly go for Barb & Morgan. They’re the best! They remember my drink order, my name & always make you feel welcome. The music is also awesome.. a great mix of variety. I’ve definitely added this to one of my local faves! Cheers! 🥂

My husband and I love this place. They treat you like family here, remember your drink order and it’s a nice place to unwind. We both particularly love Missy. She is our favorite bartender. She is so easy to talk to and she treats all of us with kindness, warmth and respect. I’m always at ease at Jwags. Definitely an awesome place for St. Pete locals.
Cheap drinks. Parking sucks. Other than that a cool little dive/pool bar off the beaten path. I'll be back

I recently visited J Wags off Fourth Street in St. Petersburg, Florida, to catch a Sunday night football game, and I was really impressed by the vibe. The atmosphere is laid-back yet lively, making it a great spot for a casual night out with friends. The bar has plenty to offer, including pool tables, darts, and multiple TVs, so it’s perfect for watching games or just hanging out.
There's a small outdoor seating area, which is great if you want to enjoy the fresh air while still being close to the action inside. The lighting is also really cool, giving the place a fun and inviting feel. It’s on the smaller side, but that only adds to its charm—it's cozy but never feels cramped.
One of the highlights for me was the selection of tunes from their iTunes playlist, which kept the energy up without being too overwhelming. Overall, J Wags is a solid spot for a laid-back night of drinks, games, and good company. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend checking it out!
