I’ve been to my fair share of bars, but none compare to Bar Mastiff. This place isn’t just a bar; it’s a local legend. The moment you step inside, you’re hit with a sense of authenticity that no amount of polished decor can fake. The dim lighting, old concert posters, and random knick-knacks give it that perfect gritty charm. It’s a place where every wall has a story, and every seat feels like it’s reserved for a regular—whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth.
Let’s talk drinks. This isn’t the kind of place for overpriced craft cocktails. Bar Mastiff serves cold beer, stiff drinks, and they’re served with a side of no-nonsense charm. I ordered one of their house specials, and it was the perfect mix of strong and refreshing—the kind of drink that makes you forget how long your day was. The prices? Insanely reasonable. You could stay all night and spend less than what you’d pay for a single cocktail in some fancy downtown spot.
But the real magic here is the bartenders. These folks don’t just pour drinks; they’re like old friends you didn’t know you had. Quick with a joke, a smile, or a solid recommendation, they make you feel like you belong the moment you sit down. You’ll never wait long for a refill, and they’ll probably know what you’re drinking before you do.
The people are what make Bar Mastiff truly special. It’s a place where strangers instantly feel like friends. The regulars don’t just nod politely—they’ll pull you into a conversation, share a laugh, and before you know it, you’re in the middle of a group that feels like it’s been together for years. There’s no pretension here, just good vibes and great company. No matter who you are, you’re welcome, and you’ll leave feeling like you’ve been part of the crew forever.
And then there’s the jukebox. It’s like someone’s reading your mind and playing the exact song you didn’t know you wanted to hear. Classic rock, punk, or something newer—it doesn’t matter. By the time the night’s in full swing, everyone’s singing along, and the whole place feels alive with energy.
Bar Mastiff is badass, plain and simple. It’s the kind of dive bar that doesn’t try to be anything other than what it is: a perfect, no-frills place to have a good time. If you’re not already a regular, you’re missing out. You come for a drink, but you stay for the experience—one you’ll be talking about long after you’ve left.
Trust me, you won’t want to leave.

Kim is amazing! Hope to see you soon
The bar tender tonight was so truly amazing, it brought back my 20s just being there with everyones still cool diverse chill vibes. I miss that place, so I will be back soon. My buddy Will frequents there. ?
Parking: Limited parking spaces when there's a full house. Tonight a Sunday night/ not a holiday or event- it was easy to find a spot. There it's parking on the side but sometimes it's a squeeze during a busy time.

Good bar, as long as Megan is not bartending. She has a bad attitude, and seems strung out. And don't order the food unless you want to vomit?
But the beer is cheap, patrons are cool, and good place to catch a game ??

This place is conveniently located down 54th Avenue in Lowman. There's also a convenience store and a laundromat right next door. They have a food truck and they have food made inside the bar. They also have karaoke on Saturdays. They have pool table, games, plenty of seating, and even television with sports playing on them. It's a fun atmosphere with really Lively people. The bartenders are awesome. It was a great night out with my girlfriend Meghan. I recommend this place and will return very soon. 10/10
Bar Mastiff has been my go-to spot for years, I started going there about 15 years ago when it was still called Marsha’s and it remains my favorite bar ever. The lively atmosphere, great drinks, and friendly staff always make for an enjoyable time. However, during my recent visit, I encountered an issue with inclusivity that left me disappointed. Despite this, I still believe Bar Mastiff is a good place overall, and I encourage people to visit. It's my hope that they can become more inclusive of people with alternative lifestyles, as this would truly make it a perfect spot. The food at Bar Mastiff is nothing short of gourmet A1 perfection! Every dish that comes out of Steve's kitchen is like a masterpiece on a plate, elevating the dining experience to heavenly levels. Steve is truly a culinary god, crafting dishes with such finesse and flavor that it's hard to find anywhere else. If you're a foodie looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Bar Mastiff is the place to be. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
Jodie is on spot. Wonderful to end a night or start a day. This is the best dive you could ever ask for
