Update your business hours. At least 5 times I've come here during posted business hours to find the doors locked. Be more professional.

Grateful Bar. Live music, fun, grateful staff. UJB on Thursdays. Drinks are a tad on the high side but not excessive.

I would give less but I can’t. The male bartender threw away my already paid for drink and dumped a drink on my friend all because he was upset over a joke. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

Was just thrown out for trying to see how the upstairs looked while they had not a single customer in it. I got thrown out for iron October 4th 2023 T 8pm. I would not host a show here they are very dead before hours so I don’t imagine them picking up even during a concert . There stage seemed like only a little bit of people can actually watch a show. I’m not 100% on that because I got kicked out trying to observe the areas of observation but from what I can tell not worth having any show at.

Here with my wife, had a couple beers and they added an extra to my tab. Happens every time in this area when seeing a live band. I can count to two. Dishonest.

Great place to see an intimate show, boogie down on the 1st floor or relax upstairs with a cold beverage!

I'm here mostly because I can't review bands, so this is the next best option. My friend and I went wandering around last night to check out some places we don't usually visit. My friend hasn't been to the new Ringside Cafe location yet so we popped in.The energy was great, people seemed to be having fun, the bar staff was nice, and the band, Den of Theives was sounding good! We were really happy we ended up there.Until we weren't. Until the singer in Den of Theives demanded a shot of jagermeister and then proceeded to ask "what the hell is up with this bar staff?" in an annoyed, condescending tone. The bar staff was just fine. Great even. They offered us service promptly. We stood right at the bar and watched people get their drinks and checks quickly. The staff was bubbly and smiling at everyone. We were standing right at the bar and saw it all. And nobody was waiting on anything, cause I hate to break it to the singer of Den of Theives but the place wasn't exactly packed to the walls to see them. You were given time on a stage at a venue downtown on a Friday night. Instead of being grateful, you attempt to publicly humiliate the staff in front of everyone while holding a microphone in your hand. I dont understand. Especially when your complaint was unnecessary and baseless. That's some Grammy having behavior. People know ringside, they're a familiar name. They hosted the concert for the students that practiced at School of Rock, aspiring musicians in our community. It was really disappointing because the band sounded good and we were really enjoying the energy while we stayed. But that behavior left a taste in our mouths that even our drinks couldn't get out. We didn't wanna hang out anymore. Maybe until one can use manners in public, a karaoke machine in the privacy of your own home could be a better alternative.I feel bad cause I gave a disappointed look to the guitarist when we left (I couldn't help it, it was stuck on my face) and he looked so happy with the biggest grin, having a great time. I know he didn't say it, so my apologies to him.Anyway, I wanted to leave a good review because they didn't deserve that last night. Be nice to your hospitality staff! :)

I've been going to Ringside Cafe for years. This was my first visit in the new location for a Skinny Puppy after party with friends. Loved the music and the cover was very reasonable. They only had 1 bartender though for a lot of people. My friend tagged in to get me my drink.

We absolutely loved our night hanging out at Ringside Cafe. We watched Uncle John Band (Greatful Dead tribute band), and they definitely did not disappoint! We met so many amazing humans and had such a great time. We will be back!

The performer was great. Our group had a really great time but I was dancing so much that my debit card and ID fell out of my pocket. I came back the next night along with started calling at 12 PM when the website says they open when I came back that night I sit outside for two hours And was told that I would be escorted to the bar to ask someone who works there that never happened. And then they tried to get me to give them a $30 cover charge just to go in and ask if anyone picked up my ID and debit card , for as much money as the group of us paid for drinks last night there’s no reason why management should be so complicated. I’m sure this kind of thing happens all the time did people just not get their things back and have to go to the bank and go to the DMV because in establishment isn’t decent enough to let you in or escort you in so they know you’re not trying to pull the wool over anyone’s eyes so that you can retrieve your belongings? I thought highly of this place last night. But with what I dealt with tonight and the disrespect I was shown I will never return to the establishment they don’t seem to care about their customers because the performers bring in enough revenue for them so they feel as if they can treat people however. Have some decency and do a simple task to help someone out. Be a good person even if it’s not your job, it’s simple which it should be your job to please the customer, but apparently your management doesn’t care too much about that as well.

Nice bar just out of Downtown St Pete. Live music venue. Catch Reverend Billy C. Wirtz Tuesdays in April! Great show!

This place brings in all the best bands in the area. I like coming here because it's a break from the mainstream downtown block and madness. The line for the bathrooms can be a bit of a wait some nights. The bartenders are normally attentive, but the upstairs bar doesn't carry everything. My buddy asked for a better gin and the bartender said they only have house gin. We went downstairs and the bartender downstairs took care of us.

The new location is amazing and the sound quality is finally choice. The upstairs area has a really nice bar, too, and there are bathrooms upstairs and down. The crowd skews GenX/Boomer, but I think that just depends on the band that night. Just a fun place to bounce around
