This place is good for people who want to eat Thai food without actually eating Thai food.
The chicken in the Thai Basil stir fry was literally not STIR fried because there was not a single bit of seasoning on it. It was literally boiled chicken breast that they threw on top of the dish as a garnish. They have Thai chilis in their hot sauce tray, but for whatever reason don't put it in the actual dish. We literally had to season the food ourselves after it was served. BTW their spicy level 4 is a level 0 anywhere else.

Food was amazing, got it delivered so I can’t speak for the service and atmosphere but if it’s anything like the food tasted, it should be an awesome spot. Teriyaki chicken was the best I’ve had and crab rangoons were super crispy and dense (in a good way)

Dine inside or out. Variety of choices. Best crab rangoon I've had in years. Excellent crisp on the wonton.

Absolutely unacceptable. We ordered via uber eats and my pregnant wife had a roach in the bottom of her soup. Have never had this happen before, I’m at a loss for words.

Great family run restaurant that serves the best coconut soup and Udon noodles! As well as, other Thai staples.

Stumbled on a gem in plain sight: Sab Café. You have my heart! The staff was so sweet with the best recommendations, I really couldn’t go wrong. The menu leans rich, fragrant, and deeply satisfying. Every dish was like home: pure comfort. The tom kha with chicken was 11/10, nothing short of extraordinary: silky coconut broth layered with lemongrass, sweetness, and savory depth. The oxtail pho was a showstopper: two generous bones, tender flank steak, and rice noodles, accompanied by a spice rack and all the right garnishes. My server’s excitement told me I’d chosen well. The crispy duck impressed with its thick, golden crust and tender meat, paired with jasmine rice and steamed vegetables. Even the wings—simple and crisp—spoke to care in the kitchen. Drinks shone too: The moon light saketini was so! good! And the Lady Apple Saketini struck a lovely balance of mild sweetness and polish. With quick, kind service and outdoor seating, Sab Café delivers both warmth and flavor. I loved that I could people watch while eating an absolutely divine meal. One to remember for sure. On the pricier side but absolutely worth it. Also, be warned: you can pay ~less~ by paying with cash.

The pineapple pork fried rice and soft shell crab are great dishes! I love how the pineapple fried rice is served in a half pineapple, too! I went here to celebrate my friend’s birthday, and it did not disappoint! There is a big variety of different Asian food and fusion, which I appreciate! I hope they can extend their hours!

Sab Cafe is an absolute delight to have in ST. PETE 🌟 Great location ✨, great vibes in and outdoor 🎉, and delicious, tasty, food! 🤩 The service is friendly and fast. We always have an exciting experience when we dine in. Luckily they also offer delivery options for those Netflix & Chill nights. Seriously, this place is the best all the way around!! My favorite dish is the Drunken Noodles with tofu (no egg) Thai Hot 🥵 - for those ofus who like the heat 🔥 Thanks Sab Cafe for all of your delicious food and wonderful service through the years! 💖

They blatantly ignore order notes, I ordered Pad See Ew through UE and selected NON spicy and they sent me Thai Chili hot, you could see ALL the dried crushed up Thai chilis throughout the dish, literally the entire meal tasted like straight dried chilis, couldn’t eat it and spent $25 for no reason, won’t be ordering again, you can see where they labeled it HOT! on the container.

This was our first meal off the plane and we were definitely pleasantly filled. We got the Black muscles in red curry, crispy duck, chicken fried rice, 2 Thai iced tea, and 2 bubble teas for $100. We sat outside for lunch and the covered part of the patio had a nice cool cross breeze out of the sun and intermittent rain. Our party of 4 was seated immediately even on the 4th of July. The food came out quickly and we weren't rushed to leave. The owners came out to chat with us, move an umbrella, and were super personable. I would definitely come back here. The crispy duck is one of our go to dishes when we have Thai food. It's deep fried but because it's in a sauce, it didn't have the crispness we were expecting. Regardless, everything was delicious and we didn't have room for dessert.

The woman at counter was very rude and passive aggressive behavior. Also very dismissive, I will never eat here at Sab Cate ever again. Shorter woman with ponytail, red lipstick at counter. Seem she is bringing problems from home into work and making us as customers experience very uncomfortable and unpleasant.
