Great sandwichs at great prices. Bar tender was by himself because the server was late. We still had very good service if a little slow because he was doing a one man show, but very effeciently.

Not a place for younger children. Vulgar obscenities all over the restaurant.Food was subpar and service was minimal. Only go here as only option.

We were so excited to try this spot and we were hoping that we would find a new late night spot to request at. The bartender with the accent made is the reason why we will not be coming back. We first asked a question about a few drinks after sitting down and the bartender laughed in our faces. That should’ve been our first red flag. We decided to order some beers which took about 10 minutes for the bartender to pour. It was obvious he forgot about them since he was too busy pouring himself glasses of wine to openly drink behind the bar. His service was sub par to put it nicely. It was obvious he wasn’t even trying, probably because he was drunk. We ordered three meals to go. While waiting for our meals we watched three tables have to come up to the bartender to ask for checks. Our to go meals took about an hour which we understood the kitchen was backed up but their was no apology and we were never told this, we just overheard the bartender tell others that their kitchen was closed. After our hour wait 2 out of the three meals were incorrect, which doesn’t shock me as it was a drunk bartender that put our order in. We will not be coming back and would not recommend this place to anyone. Not worth it.

I recently dined at the Berg Diner and Grill in St. Pete, and my overall experience was just average. Let me break it down:Portion Sizes: Unfortunately, the portions were on the small side. If you’re looking for a hearty meal, you might want to reconsider.Cheeseburger Salinity: The cheeseburger I ordered was a bit of a letdown. It was extremely salty, which affected my enjoyment of the meal.Beverage Options: Now, here’s where things get interesting. The diner only offers sodas in cans, not the usual fountain drinks. I found this a bit odd and limiting.Service: The service was okay, but not outstanding. It didn’t leave a lasting impression. Perhaps they’re understaffed, as I noticed some hustle and bustle behind the scenes. In summary, the Berg Diner and Grill has room for improvement. If they address the portion sizes, saltiness, and beverage options, they could elevate the dining experience. For now, it’s a decent spot, but not a standout. Please note that this review reflects my personal experience, and others may have different opinions. ??

Went there with a friend a few weeks ago. The service was very slow and we felt like I was being ignored at the bar. The Greek fries were just ok. Way too much feta and no seasoning. The gyro was extremely garlicky and too many onions. Loud place and very crowded.

I love the laid back casual atmosphere, the friendly staff and the delicious food. I make The Burg a must do stop every time I visit St Pete. The Greek Lemon/Chicken/Orzo soup is amazing! From healthy choices to more indulgent choices, I highly recommend.

Man do the servers/ bartenders who work here have an attitude. I don’t know if they hate their job or they are annoyed that people are in there to eat and have a beer. My hamburger was awful. They forgot have if the products on it. Very dry. Couldn’t get any napkins. The servers definitely need to go find a new career. A smile goes a long way.One of the worst dining experiences ever. And the bartender Ms kept complaining non stop about how many people are there to eat.Very unorganized and it seemed like no one knew how to do their job.And whatever you do, don’t ask for suggestions on what’s the most popular item on the menu that people chose from. My waitress expression showed she was clearly annoyed
