I recently tried out this local spot that had a 4.5-star rating and ordered their Grouben sandwich, a twist on the classic Reuben made with grouper. The sandwich was decent but didn't particularly stand out, and the fries were just okay. The ordering process was a bit confusing, but once inside, the environment was casual. Overall, it's a place I might revisit, but I'm not in a hurry to return.
Don't sleep on this place. This is a cozy and divey campus place that has some really good takes on a grouper sandwhich. The buns look to make made from scratch and the flavors of all the toppings go really well. I'll be back for sure.
The food is good. The atmosphere is good. The service is mediocre. The real issue with this place are the prices. Way too expensive. A grouper sandwich is $16.50! It is good but not the best grouper sandwich we have ever had. Other food items are also quite costly. Can you imagine a family of 5 eating here with drinks? We can’t.
