We were on a Friendcation to St. Pete Beach and decided to eat an early dinner at this restaurant/bar. The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fun. Loved the skateboards on the walls. I loved the wings, but my friend says the Dirrty bird was better.

We actually decided to try this place because a couple doors down, the Cuban place ended up having bad customer service and bad sanitary practices. And of course this place was not a disappointment at all. The service was great. We had the Greek chicken salad, with a flatbread pizza. It was really good. And despite the fact that it was only one waitress who pretty much handled the whole place. In fact she let me try a sample of her three favorite beers. And they were all very good, I ended up going with the sour flavored one, Florida version. Needless to say she was very good. We didn't feel the service was lacking. The prices are pretty reasonable as well. If we weren't just visiting from out of town, we would definitely be back, and we highly recommend. ??
The 80's Thraser/Tony Hawk skateboard vibe lives here. The food is appetizing, the homemade ranch and Boopie sauce are fantastic, and the service is extraordinary with Carissa running the show, one of the best waitresses out there. There is parking in the front and overflow parking in the back and plenty of additional parking on 1st Ave S behind the restaurant, there is a rear door entrance. This is a neighborhood favorite.

Food was Ok. Service was super slow. I was consistently ignored. When the server gave me my bill I placed cash on the table. I waited over 15 minutes for her to come and get my cash. I finally left but not without leaving a tip that reflected the poor service. My time is valuable.

Was looking for a relaxed place to have dinner with a friend. Could not have found a better place than the Wheelhouse. The food was hot, delicious, and a fair value. The service was exemplary. I felt neither rushed, nor like I would starve before my dinner arrived. I would love to keep this place a secret just for my dinner companions and myself but that would be an injustice to the great execution they have. The warm casual atmosphere just topped off a perfect evening. I will be there again, and again, and again....

The wheelhouse is a good local joint. Good basic food selections (sandwiches, wings, tacos, etc.), a great beer selection that evolves as new selections come and go, and a selection of very good, homemade dessertsThe peanut butter pie is to die for… Creamy, rich, and also peanut butteryThe peanut butter brownie comes out, warm.… Super chocolatey it’s a good dessert but it needs more peanut butter flavor… So ask Brett to add a scoop or two of additional peanut butter to the top of itKid-friendliness: The wheelhouse is very kid friendly… It’s a family local kind of place.
