I will start by saying that drinks came relatively fast, and kept coming which almost made the rest tolerable. We had 7 and we were the only table inside. There were people at the bar and outside. The food trickled out slowly. We each received our food at separate times, and by the time I had finished my (lukewarm) mussels, only two others had food. I think the next person received food about 5 minutes later, and by the time my husband received his food (he was last to be served, although he had also ordered mussels), I had been finished mine for at least 20 minutes. It was also very loud techno type music.

Drinks are good. Food is awful. They had no hummus nor tzatziki regardless of the fact that multiple menu options have these ingredients. The beef kabobs were inedible unless you’re absolutely starving and haven’t had a proper meal all day. Burnt to a crisp and very dry. It also took about an hour to receive the food.

Such a great spot to chill with the gang. Great people watching on the “strip”, beautiful backdrop of the art museum lit up at night. We had a charcuterie board which was delightful and reasonably priced. My daughter, who only eats clean and whole, found lots of veggies on the menu. The wings were good and so were the truffle fries!

Got a flatbread. It was ok. But…. Only being given a little bitty cocktail napkin and no plate and no utensils leads to a messy situation when sitting at one of their couches outside. And good luck catching the server to request these or the check.

Terrible experience … no help.. Sat hour and half 3 orders came out and the other 2 had to wait another 40 minutes for other food. GM was waiting tables… totally unacceptable. Meanwhile other tables were receiving food. Will never recommend.. too many other nice timely

Stepping into Tryst once felt like entering a realm of effervescent indulgence, a place where the Chambong wasn't just a novelty but a symbol of its unique spirit. Sadly, this gem on Beach Ave in St. Pete, Florida, seems to have lost its luster. The absence of the Chambong, once the star of their show, is emblematic of Tryst's descent into mediocrity. Where there was once an air of exclusive pleasure, there now sits just another champagne bar. The once distinct ambience that set Tryst apart from its neighbors has faded, blending into the background of an already crowded scene. The selection, while adequate, no longer offers the exciting flair it once did. Service, though competent, lacks the enthusiastic spark that used to make each visit special. It's with a heavy heart that we bid adieu to our patronage of Tryst. It's not merely about missing a drinking accessory, but rather mourning the loss of what made Tryst exceptional. The Chambong wasn't just a glass; it was a symbol of Tryst's commitment to a unique, lively experience - a commitment that seems to have fizzled out. Farewell, Tryst. We'll cherish the bubbly memories, even as we explore new horizons.

This was one of the first bars I came to when I moved to St Pete and I thought it was great. Now they are losing their staff and have a high turnover. I know someone that worked there and management won’t pay the wages they owe them for when they worked. Me and my friends will never go back and recommend anyone that believes in treating employees with respect and fulfilling their pay not go here. Plenty of good bars that take care of their people.

Unacceptable this bar is empty, we (2 couples) ordered a drink but when we were going to order the 2nd round they said we can’t bc the bar is too busy. Literally they said you can’t order we are busy … I am attaching picture as a probe “how busy the bar is” dec 31, 2023 4:10pm
