American Social Orlando

I’ve had great experiences at American Social in the past, which is why this visit was so disappointing. During an event this weekend, the handling of ID checks and guest interaction felt unnecessarily harsh and unprofessional. Several guests with valid 21+ IDs were subjected to uncomfortable verification tactics, and the overall tone from staff escalated situations instead of resolving them. In particular, staff members identified as Brooke and Amber were unwilling to work with guests or offer any kind of second chance or reasonable resolution. Even when guests calmly tried to explain situations and apologize on behalf of others, the response felt dismissive, and communication was unprofessional, including repeated use of informal and demeaning language like “babe.” Rather than de-escalating or finding solutions, guests were removed from the venue, even after paying for entry and food, with no effort made to accommodate or resolve the situation. This experience felt very different from what I expect from the brand, and unfortunately left a very negative impression. I would recommend other locations instead.

Awesome vibe, with a plethora of TVs and a legit DJ. Food was great, beer selection is solid, and the staff knows how to take care of you. Hostess Nataly immediately set the tone - would highly recommend!

The food is amazing, loving the new menu! Drinks are always a hit and our server Jules was amazing. The general manager Amber even came to check on us and was very nice. Love this spot and will definitely be returning.

Wanted a quick drink and appetizer Sunday evening and picked this spot for the first time , and let me tell you it didn’t disappoint. Atmosphere was great as well as our server Julie . Food came out quick and drinks were drinking 5/5 recommend

I stopped by American Social on Thursday and just wanted to leave a quick note about the service. Tina took care of us and she was honestly fantastic. From the moment we sat down she was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of without ever making us feel rushed. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely seems to enjoy making sure guests have a great experience, but that was exactly the vibe she gave off.

New menu is To die for. Sat at the bar with Carolyn. She was amazing. Had the pasta with short rib. Will come again soon.

Melanie was an excellent server! She was very attentive and always approached our table with a smile. The delicious French Toast with maple butter was to die for. We will be back. Thank you!
