Tommy and Kristy or Chrissy took us. Went with a couple of my friends for my birthday dinner and drinks. Ordered the brisket cheese stake pizza it was delicious, while ordering it Tommy recommended adding pepperoni. I’ll take recommendations from him when I go back. They made it super friendly and inviting.

Brisket pizza with pepperoni (suggested by Tommy) did not disappoint. Chilly night but the patio heaters helped. All in all, definitely enjoyed it and will visit again.

Tried the crab cakes for lunch. As a native Marylander, we were actually pleasantly surprised at how good they were. Lots of lump crab meat. Highly recommend Mavericks. Nice outside bar and good food!

Went on a Saturday afternoon, barely anymore there. We sat at a table waiting to even get acknowledged. Meanwhile what looked like the only bartender/waiter was just hanging out with what I assume were the local neighborhood drunks. Never came over or said anything to us, waited 15+ minutes and got up and left. There was only the 4 drunks at the outside bar and 3 people inside and one table that actually ordered food. Not going to last when you have bad service and a bunch of low life's hanging out drunk 1p on a Saturday afternoon. Not going back, that's for sure.

Very casual vibe to the place. We sat at the bar. I was super excited to see Buzztime trivia. The servers were attentive yet not overly in your face. I got the buffalo wings and my goodness they were lit!🔥 The smoke flavor combined with the sauce was incredible. Yes, they actually smoke meat. Had a great chat with one of the owners, he was very personable and his excitement for what he’s doing was apparent. Husband really enjoyed the brisket pizza. The only downside is that it’s not closer to my house or this would be my local hangout. Recommended if in the area!

Tonight was the last night of our vacation, and we wanted to try something new before heading home. We visit the Cocoa Beach area every year, but this time we discovered Maverick’s Hangar Bar and Grille on Facebook — and WOW, it did not disappoint!
Our son is a huge Top Gun fan, and he was absolutely in awe of the decor. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was awesome and unique. The food? AMAZING. Portions were generous, and the prices were even better.
They were short-staffed, but you’d never know it — the entire team was hustling and still providing top-tier service. A huge shoutout to our server, Dave, who was friendly, attentive, and made our experience even better. His service was another solid 10/10.
This spot is now a must-do for our annual trips. We’ll definitely be back! 🛩️🍔🍹
