Another update bc google suggested it. So, i came up with a new menu item. If you go for breakfast, tell them you want Angel's Breakfast Poutine. I came up with it bc i really miss the poutine from home. Cheese curds, gravy, home fries, corned beef hash & fried onions. Omg. It is delicious!! Holy crap people! I'm a very picky eater & when I tell you that's the best damn grilled shrimp I've ever had, I mean it's absolutely the best damn grilled shrimp I've ever had! The waitress, a total sweetie! Fried green tomatoes, made different than what I'm used to, but still pretty darn good. The hush puppies are more like balls of deep fried sweet corn bread & omg, yum! I wholeheartedly recommend going here bc between the service & the food, you're never gonna wanna leave bc, well, it just feels like you're with family. Update: I've been a CPL more times since & they already remember my name. It's service like that that makes customers feel wanted & appreciated. I tried their burger with grilled onions (you gotta ask for that part) & *drool*. I saw another review saying it needs more seasoning & I kinda agree, just a bit more salt wouldn't hurt, but I salt my tomatoes on my burger, so it makes up for it. It was juicy & just plain freaking delicious! Now, if only they'd start giving discounts for military spouses,it would be perfect, bc we're the ones that have to deal with them! 😂
