The Mrs. and I rarely eat takeout fried chicken, but Easter Sunday was a day for Not Cooking at Home, so we went here for two take-out orders to enjoy at home. Big Mistake! When I was a kid, mom made the best ever fried chicken -- she had a gift. But, at my age, I've learned not to let fantasy cloud my judgement, so I only expected "take-out-fried-chicken". Oh well . . . even reduced expectations were missed! We got there just an hour after they'd opened.. Order bagged and paid for, and we were on our way before noon. Got home and disappointment immediately set in. What remember from my best fried chicken days was that it ought to be hot and, so soon after being cooked, it out to be "glistening". It was neither. It was barely warm and looked dry and felt "spongey"--and my third piece which I paid for, was missing. I have to say, it tasted great, just like mom's did when I snuck back in the kitchen to steal a still-warm-piece or two, long after dinner. It usually was still too warm to cover and refrigerate for quite a while. I thought about going back to get my missing piece, but, why subject myself to the same disappointment? Next time we get a yearning for fried chicken, maybe Popeye's isn't that far to go to give them a try!

Just sucked. Food, service, staff. As someone who has worked in several restaurants, it is simply unacceptable. How do you take 45 minutes to cook 12 chicken wing.....while serving several other guests larger orders when they ordered well after placing our order. Save yourself some time an money, don't eat here. Food was dry and cold.

Extremely long wait for 6 piece chicken, fries, and gizzards. Not a single update. I had to get up and ask at 45 mins. Everyone who came in after us was served first (mind you this was at least 8 people) we got our food at 50 minutes waiting. Fries cold, and gizzards not hot. I do not recommend at all. Very disappointed. Staff more concerned with conversations than checking in on customers food etc.

Always on point, being a regular makes it easy for me the fact that I usually get the same thing. But the service is great and the food is

Larger dining room than Avon Park location with a restroom. A few beers on tap also. The freshly fried chicken is kick-ass. Sides are great too. Fast and friendly service. Fair prices. Come and enjoy.

This is the worst place to get fried chicken. Wasted almost $50 on this garbage. The establishment was unprofessional, very poor hygienic conditions, the food tasted like it was spoiled, and the staff was rude. Do not eat here.

Food looks greasy and dry. Matches the bland personalities of whoever is cooking it. A hard R too? Fr?

Anyone of color, don't eat here. Derogatory names & racial slurs will not be tolerated. Especially when it's regional managers speaking like this.
