Sandy has moved!! I used to live in this evening about 10 years ago. I went to Sandy Circle Café all the time. I was shocked to see that they were closed and off of the circle. I heard a rumor that they had moved to US 98. The new name is Sandy's Café 98. Same great service and food! It is truly a hometown family restaurant. Sandy is back there cooking the food and when they are out biscuits that were homemade, they are out for good. Everything is fresh and homemade. If you are tired of the generic commercial corporate diners. Head on over to Sandy's.

First time visit. A couple has a small dog sitting on booth seat. The dog def didn't appear to be a service dog. Our server didn't believe it was but said it was sitting in the corner and you can't ask anymore for fear of lawsuits. I expressed my concerns for cleanliness/health and she shrugged as if "what can you do". Won't be back. NOT the servers fault but owner needs to apply health standards !

Staff friendly environment, quaint family restaurant. Owner comes right out of the kitchen after making a delicious meal and greets you. Yum!

I had the all you can eat fish. The fish was excellent, but the fries and coleslaw left something to be dedired. Our waitress was very good. I would go back for the fish...

Walked in and stood at door for over five minutes. The cashier/host never acknowledged our presence...with no sign to seat self or wait to be seated, my son finally and politely asked if we seat ourselves? The response we received was “well I don't know what to say, there is nowhere to sit.” Than he pointed to an empty table and told us we could sit there. One set of silverware on the table, as he set other empty tables. Server immediately took a table of eight who walked in and sat down. They weren't even through sitting yet, and had their drink orders. The host, wait staff and bus boy all walked by and saw us probably 8 or 10 times. No acknowledgement given at all. The food looked “not that appetizing” and you could tell the food was blan with just about everyone pouring on hot sauce, ketchup and salt/pepper. Very small portions as well; don't know the prices because we were never given or offered a menu. The table we watched walk in sit down and get drinks already had order in and still no acknowledgment even after food was delivered to the table directly next to us. My son looked at me and said,” do you want to go somewhere else,,,I'd like to eat sometime today.” We got up and walked out. Probably won't go back for a second chance.

Sammi was the best server we have had at Sandy's. The food is always great but the service has suffered almost every time we have been here. Sandy personally cooks the food and everything we have tried has been awesome!

I've heard nothing but great things about this place and had to give it a try. First of all, the environment is welcoming and friendly, so plus on that! You won't find 3 hr old coffee here. Mine was hot and fresh and stayed full the whole time, THANK YOU since this is a pet peeve of mine. The restaurant was busy for breakfast but I didn't wait longer than normal for my food. Our Server came by immediately after 3 bites to make sure we were happy, and we were. It was so hot and you could tell everything was fresh. My stomach, taste buds and wallet were happy. I love small businesses and Sandy absolutely takes care of her guests. Give them a chance!

I recently went to Sandy's with some family who were visiting from out of town. While there we experienced great service, wonderful food, and the ambiance of the hometown establishment. The servers were all very friendly and attentive, answering any questions we had about the menu. The food came out quickly and was delicious! Homemade burgers and fries are my favorite! Not only was the service and food excellent, but the prices were equally as nice, very affordable, especially if you are going with your children or other large groups. I definitely think that locals or anyone passing through should give this place a try, they are quick, affordable, and will not disappoint.

This place rocks!!!! Food is hot and home made. The fried green tomatoes was everything I ever imagined that they could be. I felt like I was in my granny's kitchen! That's saying a lot. I highly recommend the hot sandwiches if it's later in the day and for mornings, her breakfasts are famous. The western omlet is my favorite with fresh veggies, salty ham and oooy gooooy cheese. You can't beat the prices either. Two thumbs way up for service and quality. Friendly, home town local treasure. Check out Sandy, Cy and the gang on the famous downtown circle!!! You won't regret it.
