Great ice cream and friendly service. Enjoyed the outdoor seating as well. Awesome place and town circle!

2/23/25 3:30 pm I literally felt so bad for the young lady working the counter. She kept her composure with a long line of people. This place has so much potential but just needs better management. There needs to be 3 persons at the counter to readily serve the customers. The But First Coffee with the Manhattan Special Espresso was amazing, unfortunately the Montreal steamie was discolored (brown) but after eating many gas station dogs I was hoping for a better Nathan’s hotdog. 🌭 it’s better to toss it out and focus on the quality of your products. I’m not writing this establishment off!! We will be back with hopes that they make improvements on some stuff. It’s definitely a cool place!! Best wishes for future success.

We tried a chocolate soda and caramel apple and the caramel apple was so delicious I have been thinking about it since summer. I will be back in less than 2 weeks.

Sebring Soda is a nice throwback to old-time soda shops. They have a wide variety of sodas, ice cream, and well as some other food items. Downtown Sebring underwent an extensive renovation. Hopefully it is maintained, as there are many nice dining and entertainment options, including Sebring Soda.

Parking: Located on the circle in Downtown Sebring, there is parking around the circle and on the side streets leading to the circle.

Kid-friendliness: Soda and Ice Cream, old-time charm. Kids love it!

The ice cream here is delicious. My problem is how long it takes to get waited on as one person stands at the register and does nothing while the other person is making ice cream for eight people. Why does the other person not come and at least help the next people It is a 20 minute wait and then you get to order

This is my favorite place to get ice cream in Sebring and Im a regular customer and usually I come here every week or twice a week and I’m disappointed today. This is actually the second time but worst than the last time I came and got my usual and I got one big scoop of brown sugar cinnamon and less than a half scoop of Pina colada which is not normal for a medium . I did not eat any of it yet and I used the spoon to move it to the side to show the other ice cream underneath. Which is less than a half inch which i deserve my tip back and half of what was spent and the pina colada was very soft as well. Still should not be the reason I’m charged for two scoops when I could of been offered a different flavor instead to accommodate what I didn’t get.

I took my son here for his birthday as he requested and the experience was great. The staff is friendly, the environment is cute and clean. The portions were big. if you're looking for a spot to bond with your little one, this is the place to do it!

Waited forty minutes in line thinking maybe someone was on a break etc. Nope just one young girl by herself. We finally left as did lots of other patrons who were smart enough not to wait as long as we did. Shame to have the business but not wanting to take care of the business. Sunday June 16 2024.

Was looking forward to the new shop after the HT makeover. Not impressed. The decor was better before. All the old signs...they need to come back. The set up was better before...the soda shelves cover half the windows. The new window seat is awful...color, size. Doesn't even fit the seat. Cushions dirty and stained...HGTV should know better. Ice cream, food, kids and cushions don't mix. Bring back the quaint tables. The lite paint color (not the teal) is the best thing that was done. Makes the place seem bigger. The teal paint, not the right color for an old fashioned soda shop feel. Plus, sloppy work on the windows above the window seat area. The paint is on the windows. HGTV, if you're going to do something, do it right. Visited on a Sunday. Waited in line 35 minutes. Nothing new. The owners should have at least 2 people working. ALWAYS. Why? You are losing $$. While waiting I saw more than 1 group (not kids) get cold sodas, open them and take to tables. The ones who waited in line only paid for 2 of the 6 they had. Can't blame the employee unless they think she should have eyes in the back of her head. She was fine but everything was a mess behind counter. Need a better system. Order at beginning, pay at end. And again, more than 1 person working. Prices went up, significantly. 2/2.5 scoops or a medium ice cream is now $6.99. Seriously!? I can buy a half gallon of premium ice cream at publix on sale for that price. Heck, even at full price of 9.99 is a better deal. Not worth the price when all the things that made the shop unique are gone and let's face it. It's just ice cream. No better or worse than what you can buy for same price at the store AND get way more than 1 serving. Spent $34 on 2 medium cups 1 shake and a kiddie cup. Next time I'll go to publix and spend $40 and get everyone in my group a half gallon of their own ice cream, go home, put a movie on and give everyone a spoon!
*RESPONSE TO OWNER:
No. You didn't read it correctly. My review was based on the several factors I mentioned and some I didn't. With the exception of the wall color I didn't like with what was done by HGTV. Your store was better before. 100% out of your control? OK, but you absolutely have 100% control now. For example the little signs etc that made you unique...you have control on whether you hang them back up or not.

Double your staff? You haven't but you did increase your prices. How is that accordingly when there is still only one worker.

Waiting 35 mins to order then another 12 to fill the order because there's only one worker is crazy.

Also, you didn't mention the fact people are taking product and not paying for it. I counted at least 8 soda bottles that were taken yet not paid for. That's about 24 bucks you lost while we were there.

I didn't compare your ice cream, which is Yoders I believe, to publix in a carton. I compared it to premium ice cream I can BUY at publix. Hagen Daz. When compared by taste and price, it's better.

Keep in mind, this is a review. It's my opinion. Most reviews are with the exception of the obvious. Dirty floors, tables, counters and chairs that remain dirty unless you want the 1 worker to leave the counter with 20+ people waiting to order to clean them. One of the things I didn't mention above.

I am sorry you didn't like my review but you cant fix what you don't know and that's what reviews are for, to let you see what customers see, and my review is what I saw and experienced.

I could have lied, which wouldn't do you any good. I could have not reviewed your business at all but then you wouldn't know why one of your customers won't be back.

I'll take my review down if you want me to, just say the word. No worries.

One more thing...I was being honest, which I believe is being a good person sinc
