Shout out to Ed for great service for my two littles!! Thank youđ
The ice cream is amazing my personal favorite is the Peanut Butter Quake Shake. They have actual soda with unique flavors and funny names for them. There is also some food like hot dogs, pretzels, etc. Definitely recommend! The worker was extremely nice and gave a lot of information and recommendations for tourists!
Retro type screen cream shop with tons of soda flavors to choose from.
Just like childhood memories
Sebring Soda and Ice Cream Works is such a fun spot! The selection of craft sodas is incredible, and the large variety of ice cream makes it hard to choose just one flavor. They also have small handheld snacks that pair perfectly with a treat. Itâs a great place to bring the kids for a fun outing or to enjoy a date night in a unique setting. The atmosphere feels extra special thanks to their recent HGTV renovation and appearance on Hometown Takeover. Highly recommend stopping by!
Came to Sebring today and visited the soda shop. We thought the interior and feel of the shop was fantastic and the ice cream was very good. My only complaint is that the service was extremely slow and itâs not because of the two employees that were working today. They were excellent workers but some of the items they have to make are labor intensive ( milkshakes, sundaes etc) and it causes the line to back up. All in all it took 15-20 minutes to get just a simple ice cream come. If I was in a time constraint in the future I definitely wouldnât stop in.
An additional worker or two in busy periods would definitely increase sales and make for a happier customer experience.
The Sebring Soda shop is a cool place for sure and I hope they do well but please get some more help. It would make for happier employees too.
What a trip back to what i imagine an old ice cream parlor was like. I would have given 5 stars but no milk means no milkshake so settled for am ice cream which was delicious
This place looks great after the HGTV renovation.
Edit August 2025 - new ownership and it is noticeable! The service is now more efficient and still very friendly. I no longer see the lack of organization and lack of process. Great job new owners. Sometimes you will still have to wait a little just because it is so popular. But that is not the norm.
Changing to 5 stars from 3.

The problem lies in the under staffing and lack of process. The workers are mostly very kind, they just donât have proper training or process to keep things moving. Everything is slow, clunky etc. they also donât have enough help. Expect to have to clean your own table and have to wait for a long time for a simple order to be filled. My understanding is that the owners donât actually live in Sebring, or if they do they are never here. Just a bit of better management and this place would be amazing.
I love Sebring and I hope this place improves the way they need to. I really want to support the local business.
I'm not proud of it.. But I've been here a lot. Why you ask?
Well, since new ownership has taken over, I have felt a change in the air. Though the soda's haven't change and the majority of the flavors are similar, the atmosphere is just different. Ed has brought life that matches the face lift the shop received during its HGTV close up. I couldn't be happier for the city to have this place be what it is now.
From face painting and painting days on the weekends, to new flavors, and new out of the box selections that will make each visit feel like the first time. We all go for ice cream because it makes us feel like kids again. The new ownership team has embraced that feeling and made the shop one of thee places to go with your family.
Nothing but best wishes to the new team.
PS - You need to try the Cookie butter crunch.
We were in town for the weekend from Miami, and found this super cute soda shop in the heart of Sebring Circle. We were with a group of friends on a Sunday afternoon. The young man running the shop was doing an AMAZING job of taking care of the large amounts of customers constantly arriving (sorry I didn't get his name to mention here). He was kind, courteous, and efficient, making everyone feel welcome all while taking orders, running the register and also serving the orders! He deserves a raise!
I enjoyed the atmosphere and feel of the place. It's situated in the center of the circle with lots of big windows allowing natural light in, and the beautiful sebring circle trees and flowers visible outside. Plenty of cute cozy retro style seating inside and outside, making you feel like you're in a 1950s soda shop.
We enjoyed looking at the extensive variety of specialty sodas available to take home for purchase on several shelves, some were quite unique and interesting flavors I want to try someday đ (see my photos), and there are also sodas in several fridges if you want a cold one for your order right now đ Such a cool place! Their menu is also varied, we ordered coke floats, but definitely want to come back to try their other menu items!! Highly recommend a visit to this place, you won't be disappointed!

Such a cool place to see. Soo many flavors and funny names of Soda. To me I think the price is a bit much for ice cream & sundaes. But a cool place to visit and see.
I visited here like a lot of others because of Ben and Erin!! Just being in somewhere I had watched transform on tv made me smile ear to ear. The line was long but the staff worked it well ! I would have been disappointed for them if the line had not been long. Had a hot dog and a shake! Both were good! I think the shake could have been thicker but as I say the line was long and it was hotter than begeezers . I think they did an amazing job!
Great ice cream parlor
Living in Florida and watching Ben and Erinâs Home Town season where the selected and came to Sebring , FL to help revitalize this small town my husband and I took a day trip to visit. Lovely drive down Scenic Hwy 17. The Downtownâs Circle is beautiful and has all the charm of old Florida. The Sebring Soda & Ice Cream Works was our destination. It was bustling with lots of families and friends. The soda assortment is a bit overwhelming in a good way as is the ice cream. However, after I caught my breath I selected the Momâs Banana Cream Pie and it is to die for!!! My husband selected what is usually what I get, pistachio, it was also delicious. The owners were there dishing up ice cream and some good looking hot dogs. Really nice folks. Well worth the drive to see how beautiful Sebring and the surrounding area is. Canât wait to go back ! I love the Ice Cream shop and old time Florida vibes.
Wonderful, friendly shop with a nice selection of flavors that suited the palates of everyone in our group, and it's situated right in the picturesque center of town. Looking forward to visiting again on my next trip to Sebring! A must-visit for locals and tourists alike.
