Was actually disappointed with this place. We went to Okeechobee to go fishing and stopped here on the way home. The place was really busy which is fine but the tables are so tightly packed that it feels like you are part of the other table's conversations.
The food was just okay. It wasn't spectacular or something to be remembered. The gator nuggets were extremely chewy. The fried mushrooms were really greasy.
Staff appeared to be overwhelmed by the number of patrons and had trouble keeping attention on drink refills and requests for napkins and even bringing the sides.
We won't be back. Hopefully you have better luck.

Good food. I think they add a gratuity to the check, but I didn't ask. $24 total was given to me at $29.3 Seems high for just sales tax.

Excellent food, great service, good value, definite go back to place. No race in town when we visited so we were able to walk in and get a table immediately. We went a little out of our way and so glad we did. We plan to stop again on our next trip to central Florida

BEST PLACE TO EAT ON EARTH! There isn't a better place to eat a steak on Fridays or Saturdays. Thursday is for all u can eat catfish 😋. Place is busy so don't be in a hurry but worth the wait.
You know its down home cooking when you walk in and see ol Billy Bob sitting there in bib coveralls without a shirt. Waitress was phenomenal and food nothing less!

We love the food, the place, the people. The menu is good, like the quality of the cuts/steaks. Until. Thursday Feb.26, went for early dinner, 4pm, order the steak tips, with macaroni and chesse and green beans, usually the tips are really good as the steaks until that day, they brought me chopped meat with grease like leftovers, that really disappointed me so much! To bad the owner wasn't there that day, l would have like to show it to him!
