Dairy Joy Seminole Ice Cream

Have been going here for years since it was Twistee Treat and now Dairy Joy. Went last night and it was a shock. The menu now has no prices. I ordered a medium blueberry sundae and it was barely filled with ice cream and the maker put chocolate sauce on it (which wasn't asked for), barely any nuts and barely any whipped cream. We ordered a kids milkshake, dipped cone and a twist. Paid with credit card and after a $2 tip it was over $22. Looked at my receipt and they charge a 7% credit card fee. 7%! First it wasn't disclosed anywhere and other places are at least doing 2-3% This place has gone downhill so bad. Crazy prices and fees. The portions are so small now and the accuracy is terrible. Sucks, because we used to go often. Buyer beware.

Absolutely ridiculous quality they have went extremely downhill in recent months from the fact that I ordered a large snow cone and received a small size not even mixed up to the point where 75% of my snow cone is just shaped eyes to the fact that a large milkshake cost over $10 And over 50% of the time they have the excuse that they ran out of milk or that their machine is down really sad to see one of my local childhood spots go this way, but this is what happens when you sell out and hire a bunch of highschoolers

So the ice cream portions are huge (which is great), but not a single item on the menu has a price associated with it... anywhere! I don't know anyone who buys something without regard to price. Update your menu to reflect how much things are and I'd be happy to update my review for you.

Great spot for a quick afternoon treat

We managed to go on an evening that not so busy and they were training a new employee...that meant our small cones were huge! Lol! We love this place -- it's our go to spot with our granddaughter!

Love their ice cream. Great patio to sit outside.

Cute place for the kids!

Cute little ice cream shop with adorable outdoor decor- small old fashioned cars and outdoor umbrellas that were a throwback to the diner days. They have an extensive menu that did not disappoint. My only complaints were the tables were dirty (it was not busy) and the staff working seemed like they were more than ready to go home. All of the trash bins were already empty and there weee no napkins on the dispensers that were on the table. We felt rushed, even though it was an hour before closing time.

We call this place our place.So we know exactly what we're talking about, great ice cream!
