Ordered the three piece combo to go, when I got home the chicken was overcooked, stringy, dry. Need I go on, the sweet vinegar slaw was nothing but cut up cabbage. Don't bother with this place

I wrote a review a long time ago and it's been that long since I've came back to Joellas. But after COVID and reopening of their doors, I gave it a chance. I went through the drive thru and was treated very well. The gentlemen at the window had great customer service and the wait time in my car was about 10min for hot food. The food itself was delicious. I'll definitely be back again- this time much sooner!

Picked up food for my family. Was surprised how big the chicken tenders were. Food tasted delicious but our sauces were forgotten so we had our chicken with no flavor so we were bummed out. On vacation so we didn’t want to turn back once we got to our Airbnb to get them. Great food but make sure you have everything your ordered. I had the family pack 24 tenders and I think they didn’t check it all to make sure everything on in there, but good food.

Door dashed two tender meals and two banana puddins while on a beach vacation. Green beans were oddly sweet and vinegary which was weird. Gravy on mashed potatoes was decent but no evidence of potatoes being red-skinned (for better or worse). Fries were soggy but could've been a result of door dash delay. Chicken was dry, chewy and the spiked honey tasted like plain hot sauce. Lastly, the banana puddin was okay but no banana slices and only nila wafers were on top so it was just a runny mess below. Super disappointing experience.

Dont waste your money. Sauce on the side was mostly oil with pepper flakes. No flavor at all. Fries were off putting smell and taste. Pimento sauce reminded me of horseradish and ketchup. However Im giving one star because the greens were amazing and service was efficient.

Chicken was dry and tasted like it had been dropped and then re- dropped in the fryer 18 times. Bread was stale. Kid working the front did not care.
I wish I could say I was exaggerating but both my wife and I stopped in the parking lot and enjoyed this in our car. The sandwich was the best tasting chicken sandwich we've ever had. PDQ can fly out of window the mac and cheese was real cheese real shells that cradle the cheese into your mouth and the banana pudding was perfection. The service was absolutely amazing I could honestly have the person who took our order through the drive-through was extremely friendly and helpful on our first visit. We are loyalists now. The quality and freshness is without competition. Will come again. This food tastes like you were invited to the barbecue but you had to leave early so they packed you up a meal to go. This is real food!

Chris in the drive thru was probably the nicest interaction I've ever had at a drive thru. Super nice and funny and helped me with a kind of crazy order. Food amazing as always! Chris was even better!

It was our first time trying Joella's Hot Chicken. The manager was great and very personable. The chicken, Mac n cheese and string fries were fresh and delicious.The heat choices and dipping sauces did not dissappoint. Love Joella's special drink station. Can't pass up the cream soda and cherry berch root beer. I don't normally drink soda, but I did tonight! We were very happy with the service, dining area and the food.
