Go enjoy a beer and pay respect to one of the fathers of artisanal beers. In the early 2010s when the craft beer movement was exploding, Rapp brewing was the source of new and exciting beers. It must have been 2013 when I had my first Gose and Lichtenhainer at Rapp brewing. Gregg Rapp believed in small batches (2 barrel brew house), open flame wort boils, and he shared his knowledge with fellow brewers. He had a huge influence on the brew scene and introduced and reintroduced many arcane beer styles to the beer community. His daughter Candi stepped up and into his shoes after Gregg passed in 2019.
