“In town for the weekend and looked through reviews and decided this place was the winner for breakfast. Honestly it's over-hyped. It's your typical breakfast like diner, food was fine but nothing to knock your socks off. Service was slow. We had the coconut custard pancakes and the station 400 omelette. Unfortunately we had a several hour drive or else I would have had mimosas because those actually looked amazing with some different flavor options.“

“Tried the “new” Buddy’s this morning. Bagels were good, fresh with a nice chew. Good cream cheese. Decent smoked salmon (Nova). Ordered online to the Beneva location, and paid for the order, got there, had to wait behind other customers who we’re ordering and paying in the store (should have a pickup counter). Turns out the order was not received (software issue), but they were most apologetic about it and gave us a bakers dozen bagels and a free muffin which was yummy (we had ordered six bagels, cc, and a pound of sliced Nova). Suggestion to all the bagel places out there—there’s nothing better than Smoked Salmon and other fish (Sable, Sturgeon) from Acme in Brooklyn (I grew up in NYC/LI and lived in Boca, it’s the best) get the whole slab and slice it to order, night and day compared to the packaged stuff, you’ll get extra points from this NY’er.“
