Most authentic gelato I've ever had in America. I've been looking for a place ever since I came back from Italy and this is the only place that has actual gelato

Hands down the best gelato. Left pictured is the Salted Caramel. The owner said she makes the caramel in house. Right picture is sugar free coffee on top and bottom scoop is chocolate brownie. Many sugar free options which is nice and hard to find. Staff is very polite. Make sure you make a stop after a day at the beach.

We were here a number of years ago and the owner was so nice and the gelato was so amazing! We happen to be back in the area and had to stop by! We had teacher’s Coffee, chocolate rum, and dolce con Leche gelato… They We’re decadent! Highly recommend them! The lively owner /What was the name of Choc something wrong? Choc there were three words.operators are fabulous!

Excellent coffee, excellent ice cream, kind and friendly owner. I recommend it to anyone who wants to take a sweet break on a hot day!

The best gelato fatto in casa! Every time we visit Siesta Key, this is our go-to spot for an authentic Italian coffee or a delicious gelato treat. Be sure to try the new Dubai Chocolate—you won’t regret it! Highly recommended. Bravissimi!

My wife and I were meandering around the Village in Siesta Key after sunset, and noticed 2 buildings that were without power. I saw that one was Made in Rome Organic Gelato and was curious if they were open. Thank God they were! We are lovers of Italian Gelato, and this shop has perhaps the best we've ever eaten. The owner and staff have great pride in their product, and it shows.
It is so smooth, creamy and fresh tasting. I can't recommend Made in Rome strongly enough.

We had the MOST DELICIOUS gelato that we have ever had at 'Made In Rome' - and I search out gelato on every vacation. I highly recommend this place. I had 2 flavors in a waffle cone - one was Ricotta and Pistachio and the 2nd was Pistachio. They were incredibly creamy and flavorful. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. An overall excellent experience!

We had their gelato every single night of our vacation-got to meet the owners which was especially nice! The gelato is better than anything we have eaten. Don’t miss stopping here as you head to town!
