Big sushi eaters here… Our first experience was AMAZING! Service was wonderful and the food did not disappoint us. Appetizers- we did the crab rangoons 10/10, gyoza 10/10, and tuna crisp 100/10 (pictured). So fresh! For sushi rolls (pictured)- we did the Tokyo Drift 10/10, Red Hot Chili Pepper 10/10, and Crazy Roll 10/10. They were all great, zero complaints. We also tried the Star Fried Rice, which is served in a half cut pineapple. Verryyyy good! Can’t go wrong there. Two others at my table got the Massaman curry with chicken and said it was delicious. Poke bowl also looked amazing. We aren’t local, but if we were we’d be revisiting often!

Worst customer service and was not told the roll we order was 48$ until it was ordered.

GO HERE!!! When booking our reservation, one of our friends told the restaurant that we were all celebrating our engagement and they made the night sooo special for us! Special shoutout to Golf. He was wonderful and brought so much joy and laughter to our evening! The food and drinks were all incredible as well! Will definitely be back!!! 🥰

Looking for amazing sushi and a wonderful atmosphere? Star Thai and Sushi is the place to go! My family and friends have been coming to Siesta Key for 24 years and this is the first time we’ve gone to Star and we are shocked we never went!
They are so thoughtful, personal, and give you an experience you’ll never forget. Everyone is amazing but Golf (bartender, social media manager, trumpet player, do it all man) is so amazing and so much fun. The food was absolutely wonderful- the tuna was like velvet!
They asked if we were celebrating anything and we told them our friends engagement and they went all out! 10/10 recommend!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

✨ We recently visited this sushi restaurant and were very impressed! The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, and the staff were friendly and attentive. There’s also a great variety of options on the menu and good value for the price.
We’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes. Highly recommend this place to all sushi lovers!

Best Thai by far in Sarasota, our favorite place on the key, and the sushi is amazing too. Service is great and friendly. Love all the curries, authentic and full over flavor. Green curry hot is amazing. Star fried rice is amazing too. This place is a must. Have a karaoke night and other specials.

If you’re on Siesta Key and craving amazing Thai food, I highly recommend Star Thai & Sushi Siesta Key! The flavors are authentic and fresh, the sushi is top-notch, and the service is always friendly. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot to unwind after a day at the beach. Don’t miss this gem!

Food is excellent. The presentation of Sushi and many other dishes are unlike other place in town. The best sushi in town.
