Really great food! I started with the short rib bites, Amazing!! The combination of flavors is incredible!! I then had there Caesar Salad with blackened Grouper, the Grouper was really fresh and delicious. Homemade Caesar dressing has good depth in flavor and the broken crispy homemade cheese bites are a flavor bomb!! My wife had the Forbidden Rice and the Marinaded Tofu and asparagus which was really good. Chad our bartender is very polite and on top of his game!!!

Joe and Chad were amazing tonight behind the bar! The Cottage was totally slammed but they didn’t miss a beat. We got the cauliflower appetizer which was recommended by other guests. It did not disappoint. Then we got the Billion dollar burger and grouper sandwich. Everything was perfect. Thank you for another lovely evening on the Key!

We were a party of 8. Five of us had the chicken sandwich, which was excellent. The Vegan cauliflower curry small plate was delicious. Service was very slow. I ordered a draft IPA and was told that they were getting a new menu so they didn’t have it anymore. I was offered a substitute IPA and I asked the waitress if it had a high alcohol content. I was told that it did not. When I later looked up the beer, I found that it was 7.8%. Luckily I wasn’t driving. Wines were on the pricey side. My wife ordered a Pinot Noir for $12, and was again told that it was not available due to the menu change. The waitress offered a substitute Pinot, without mentioning that it cost 50% more. When I got the bill, I politely pointed out to her that she should have mentioned this when offering the substitute. She seemed shocked by this suggestion, and said sorry she should have done that and that she could take it off the bill “if you want”. Why ask? Just take it off. Anyway, the main reason for my 2-star service rating was that my daughter passed by the waitress and heard her drop an F-bomb about me to another staff member.

My favorite restaurant in Sarasota! Every item on the menu is perfection. My favorite grouper sandwich! Honorable mentions: the millionaire burger, lobster bisque, and PLANTAINS 🤤 100/10! Ask to sit in the garden in the evening and weekends— such beautiful artists playing here. The perfect dinner spot with the best atmosphere

DIVINE lemon lavender martini, created by great bartender joe. mind blowing good flavor in the short rib bites that came out looking like sushi in the best way. truffle fries are a must. husband enjoyed the poke bowl. pricy but soo worth it. will be back.
A transformative and serene experience. The most attentive service I’ve ever received. Absolutely refreshing. The menu looked amazing and the food did not disappoint. We sat on the back patio, surrounded by foliage. The live guitar was upbeat and mellow at the same time. It complimented the vibe, and completed this perfect evening.

Wow! Such a great experience. Delicious cocktails to start. Lobster bisque to die for. All three the entrees were excellent- Thai curry black grouper, salmon and tempura jumbo shrimp. Hostess, server and manager were friendly and professional. We would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.
