Darrell's Dog Gone Good Diner

My husband and I were taking the scenic route home to Jacksonville and we saw this place and decided to try it out and he had the Reuben Sandwich and it was so big and delicious he just about couldn't eat it all and I had a BLT and the tomatoes were so fresh it was like they just picked them and a big amount of bacon . We will definitely be back and it might be this Friday , it's been awhile. Definitely recommend, so good and worth the drive .

It's a diner so the only atmosphere is a simple diner. It's not fancy and it's not romantic, but they have good food and friendly employees. I had the fluffiest omelet for brunch that I have ever had before and the wheat toast was delicious. Fast service and good food for a reasonable price. What more could you want from a diner?

They wouldn't let me order a single burger patty and then order of pancakes. They said they don't let you order like that .. don't make sense to me

The service and atmosphere is great but the breakfast I got had eggs that had definitely gone bad. Currently dealing sulfur burps and an upset stomach.

We always loved going to Darrell's for breakfast with our 2 service dogs. But after being asked to leave the last time because I didn't have one of their service cards(which it's not allowed to be asked for but I don't mind showing it) we and our friends will never be back
After spending the last 3 years going here for breakfast.

Im currently sitting here writing this review. I have waited for 10 minutes for the check, waitress took my order and gave me the drinks, and she hasnt said a word to me since. She is the one wearing the red shirt with hoop ear rings that look like they have pearls. Another waitress brought us our food, and thats it. NO service at all. I have been completely ignored by almost all the staff as they joke around with other customers. This is why im not leaving a tip when i do finally get my check.

The atmosphere was inviting & the service was great. I had the Philly cheese steak omelette & my wife had the Popeye omelette (spinach, feta & bacon) which were both pretty damn delicious. ? It was a little pricey, but we'll definitely be going back to Darrel's Dog Gone Good Dinner.

Just a heads up ....Whatever you do don't order the chicken wraps , no cheese ,no mayo just lettuce and tomato.very dry and tasted terrible.we won't be back !
