The staff is awful. Never felt so unimportant because it was ten minutes before closing time. I always look up when places close on my phone and it said 2 pm. It was 12:50. The guy refused to take my order because he said they were closing early. It was not 1 pm yet and still an hour till two. I am never stepping foot in this place ever again. RUDE RUDE RUDE.

Came here for breakfast. My wife and I were the only customers standing in the empty store. No hello. No Bagels made. Doesn't even smell of bagels. Employees looked at us and walked off. Won't be back. Dunkin is down the street.

No stars. Despite the pandemic we were greates rudely and asked to leave in a rude manner until the other customer left. Then stepped outside to order to go for resturant convienence and said there would be a 35 min wait, while there was only one customer inside. The rude tone was probably the most upsetting. This was to two women with two young children.

Couldn't order because the guy taking orders was so rude and unpleasant it upset my grandaughter's stomach. When I asked what bagels he had he asked me if I knew how to read. He looks like a thug and acts the part.Avoid.

Sadly the quality of the bagels here has fallen. I stopped in for an everything bagel and it lacked a few items. It was doughy and under toasted. The fellow inside was fairly cranky and yelling at people not to come into the store until the prior customer had left. That would have been fine but the sign on the door said it was limited to 10 people. At no time were there more than two people in the store. The business owner needs to get a grip. Keep this up and the business will not make it.

You have no other options if you want a bagel in the morning in this area. And no other options we saw for a deli. But this place is not good. Go to the subway or the publix across the bridge. Service is terrible. We got a sandwich and the bun is rock hard stale. It’s unbelievable that someone would cut that roll and serve it to another human that paid them money and think that was acceptable. This place is a joke.

Guy behind the counter was Rude. An hour left to closing and only has a few bagels and no meats that’s fine but don’t have to be rude.

Every time I go for a cup of coffee the wait is entirely too long.and I end up leaving. They need more help maybe just a coffee line. On a positive the bagels aren’t bad but however they are frozen.

Had to ask three times for mustard and mayo for my overpriced ham and swiss sandwitch. The only thing "new york" about the bagels is the rude attitude of the man behind the counter. That sure was authentic

Went here with my wife and daughter. The guy taking our order behaved as though he hated his job. The food wasn't too bad. My sandwich, though, could've have fresher bread. It was a bit stale. New York Bagel Cafe and Deli should employ people that like working at sandwich shops.

Had a good breakfast sandwich here but wish they had more options. Is a small store but value is good.

Can't go wrong with a bagel here, although I wish they would offer more baked goods like fresh muffins and croissants. Very casual feel with high top tables outside under an over hang just a few steps from the beach. Service is very slow. They need to hire more staff. A variety of coffees are self serve but generally are warm rather that hot. Otherwise I would have given them another star.

Was in Singer Island for vacation for a week and came here for breakfast every day except one. Every time was great. Fresh bagels and fast service. Staff is friendly and owner never let the coffee go empty. Will miss my mornings here and recommend to all visiting.

Not great food. I was not at all impressed with the bagels. Egg sandwich was day and overdone. They also don’t open until 8 which isn’t so bad, but they actually opened 15 minutes late the one day I visited.

Yuk. Just stay away... It probably be better off going to the 7-Eleven nearby... No kidding.
