El Tequila is a little taste of Mexico. I highly recommend stopping in. They have delicious food, great service and an authentic Mexican feel. Fresh warm chips and salsa. The guac is chunky, not baby food mush. Good music, it’s a good time.Vegetarian options: Burritos, tacos, quesadillasParking: Large parking lot around the entire building

We had our water turned off in our condo, for most of the day, so we decided to have dinner out. I looked up El Tequila's menu and ratings, and thought we would try it out. We were seated at the most uncomfortable booths, I have ever been in. It was almost like sitting at a picnic table. Chips and salsa were delivered to the table, promptly. We waiter for our server to return for our drink order, but that took about five minutes later. We ordered a beer and a skinny spicy margarita, plus a glass of water. Another, five to seven minute wait. The drinks were delivered minus the water. We ordered steak tacos, and Polo Margarita chicken. The food was delivered in a timely manner. My chicken was pounded thin, with grilled onions, rice, pico, sour cream and guacamole on the side. It was $20.00 My husband's steak tacos, were filled with very little meat, black beans, and lettuce and cheese. They were a sloppy mess, that he only ate the meat out of. We left very dissatisfied and still hungry. When asked how our dinner was. My husband said it sucked, to just a blank look, from the waiter. Our bill came to $57.00. Needless to say, we won't be returning. Or recommending this restaurant. I gave it one star, because the skinny spicy margaritas was quite tasty, actually the best part of the meal.

Good Mexican dishes at moderate prices. Reminds me of better kitchens in Atlanta.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!HUGE WASTE OF MONEY!!Service not good at all it’s a bunch of sitting around in groups talking not tending to customers I did not even think anyone was available when I arrived Waited very long to be seated. Had to find the waitress myself and she did not See if we needed refills our table cleaned of dishes or anything as far as the food you get very small portions for high prices small queso for eight dollars which is outrageously ridiculous kids meals are $10

Awesome chimichangas, and if you dine in, they serve you unlimited tortilla chips and salsa.

The food was good if you get the food... I only got 3 of 5 people's food correct. Then I had to wait 15 more minutes for the other food. There were a lot of communication problems because English wasn't spoken well or understood I guess. We eventually got our food. I had to remind them to refill the water ... Once was good enough for me.

Didn't seem to be people working there when we walked in. Finally got sat despite it being pretty empty on a saturday and while we waited got served the chips and salsa. The salsa was ketchup... And the queso was watered down. The waiter was no where to be found most of our time there and we waited longer just to get our order in then we waited for the actual food. Again there was maybe 4 couples in there at most and yet the staff was very busy in the back. The food was decent but mostly unseasoned. First time here wasn't the best experience.

Wow this place was incredible! We visited while in Daytona for the weekend. The outside lights are very pretty. I got the house margarita and it was strong. Also got the quesadilla bonita and my husband got a burrito. Soooo delicious! A must anytime we visit now!
Great Mexican food & has some different offerings on the menu than most Mexican restaurants.
