Surprisingly tepid food, but friendly service makes this a three-star restaurant. I ordered pork which came with almost tasteless rice, and they were out of fried plantains, imagine!
Smack in the middle of the South Miami sophisticated restaurant hub and “downtown” there’s this place with a down-home welcoming Cuban atmosphere. From the name of the restaurant to the servers and the excellent food it was all representative of a “Casa Cuba”. I was pleasantly surprised that the croquetas, pastelitos and empanadas are top notch, whether they’re made on site or come from a bakery.
