Smack in the middle of the South Miami sophisticated restaurant hub and “downtown” there’s this place with a down-home welcoming Cuban atmosphere. From the name of the restaurant to the servers and the excellent food it was all representative of a “Casa Cuba”. I was pleasantly surprised that the croquetas, pastelitos and empanadas are top notch, whether they’re made on site or come from a bakery.

Celebrated our grandfather's 100th birthday in the back separate area. The staff were amazing, food was delicious, and overall was a very nice restaurant. Would definitely go back.
If you’re from Miami Casa Cuba just feels familiar? The pastelitos—especially the guava and cheese. They’re exactly how they should be: crispy, golden, and flakey on the outside, soft and warm in the middle. The meat one is perfectly seasoned, juicy, and not dry like other spots. You can tell these aren’t frozen.

You can dip them into a hot colada (if you re into that Cuban sugar rush) or my personal choice, a classic cappuccino, it all melts together,...
