I have been a customer since they opened and in some respects it is a contemporary Miami Institution with its cafecito window and Cuban menu and great atmosphere. But lately it is hit or miss with the food. It is absolutely clear that they have different kitchen Crews at different levels of competence. There are days when the food is great and there are days when the food is just completely subpar. I did take the time to write an email to the manager about this but I never heard...
OK place for dinner and salsa dancing. 5 dollar valet parking. The service is a little slow. Very nicely decorated locale. The food is OK. The Mahi Mahi was tasteless. The Vaca Frita and Shrimp Fricase were a little better. Not a bad place for a might out.
Lázaro was the best Waiter ever. He was so nice, fast and attentive. Lázaro was very efficient, I didn't have to talk to him just give him signs that there was a birthday at my table. That's perfect and what one looks for in a waiter. Very fast and always attentive. 100% recommended.
