The waitress was very nice but the cocktails took very long to arrive. We were literally done with the appetizers and the drinks had not arrived. The value for the simplicity of the dishes were not good. I have had better Italian food and the prices have been much more reasonable. I believe that $36 for a small platter of cacio e Pepe was too much.
The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a welcoming feel. Our waitress was attentive and kind. Two of our appetizers - the Kale salad and truffle pizza - were delicious. The third - the mussles - was decent but not outstanding. The mussles were fresh and tasty but the red sauce was a bit too heavy. The main dishes were underwhelming and generally lacked flavor. Went to Mi'talia for Valentine's day & had an amazing time! We had a reservation at 9 & arrived on time but had to wait in line to check in as reservations were backed up (which we had no problem with) but even though when we finally got to the host stand it was close to 9:30 we were all given some champagne as we waited so it was no big deal to us! We thought that was a great gesture of service & our reservation wasn't cancelled or anything which was...
