Food was ok nothing special. Sushi was bland. I did not like the server not telling us tip is included and noticed I over tipped him.

Here on Valentine’s Day as I wrote this review. Let’s start with the fact that the host saw my family and I and didn’t believe we had a reservation. Following up they ignored us for minutes, the waiter was taking our order with an attitude and they didn’t bother to check up on water or to offer us any…. Until all the way after we ordered everything. The reservation was also supposed to be outside and they sat us inside.
Don’t think the costumer service here is the greatest. The waiter was then a little nicer.

It was a very nice atmosphere to go with friends. Plenty of seating. Spicy tuna sushi was good but not out of this world. The price wasn’t bad either. Street parking was ok.

We were greeted by the hostess and immediately seated for party of six. They have a full bar with premium spirits and excellent cocktails. Service was excellent and food was great tasting.

The restaurant was empty when we arrived around 5 pm. It started off great. We ordered a few apps to share and one sushi roll to share. Food was good. Drinks were good. Server was kind. Until the end that she kept coming back like every few minutes with the check in her hand asking if everything was great. Repeatedly. The final time she came by she said wow you guys are slooowww. Like, the restaurant is empty and we are eating with a baby. We have been ordering food and drinks and are still eating!! I asked her if they were closing early or something she said no we are still open and I said just leave the check so you don’t have to keep coming back I can see you’re very anxious to give it to us. I think we left around 6:30 ish. It’s not even like we were there at closing time and they were waiting on us. There were a couple of other things that were slightly bothersome that I will not mention. Very annoying, and disappointing because we thought she was very nice at first and rushing us out ruined the experience. Not memorable. Most likely would not be back.

The atmosphere and the food were excellent. However, unfortunately our service was not desirable. It was a very slow night and our server failed to be attentive, put in our order, or charge us traditionally without the phone. Everyone has an “off night” so we were kind and understanding but it was not an experience that we would wish to have again.

Appetizers were delicious. Sushi rolls were great too. The wagyu one was good but not as great as the more traditional rolls. And it was more expensive to boot. Wouldn't order again. But would definitely dine here again. The ceviche one was great! Bright and refreshing. Service was good. Our server was nice and smiled a lot. But she didn't speak English and barely made eye contact with me. Also the water glasses are tiny and she only filled them halfway whenever we needed refills. Would be nice if they fill them all the way or get larger water glasses.
