The Marquise Cafe

First of all, good choice of the cafe title Marquise (might also be a top list diamond cut for me 🥲😁). I lead us (me and my getaway🚗🏝️ partner) to this cozy cafe by accident, as all good things happen. Honestly, it wasn't what I expected coming into the door. But, I don't judge my intuition. I picked this place and how glad that I did and that we stayed. It is spacious and unordinary space, some things aren't super obvious. 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: Please come up to the front to see their FULL Menu. They have most anything and everything you might want made (even escargot, the classic style!) 𝕊𝕡𝕠𝕚𝕝𝕖𝕣 𝕒𝕝𝕖𝕣𝕥: we were there the next morning also 🥐🍳☕️! The owners are such good humans, as they are accommodating and genuine. In fact, they ran out to get fresh ingredients to make sure what my hun ordered was 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒇'𝒔 𝒌𝒊𝒔𝒔 (aka delicious) 👩‍🍳. That makes one feel special, but also they care a lot about your experience 😇. And I felt as if I landed in some side street next door cafe in Paris, France. All this to say, I think you won't find yourself at a better spot than this one in the morning, ie to get your 𝓵𝓮 𝓶𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓷 𝓸𝓾 𝓵𝓪 𝓳𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓷é𝓮 𝓪 𝓬𝓸𝓶𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓬é (that's "morning or day started" ;)) You are also likely to find interesting folks to spark up a conversation with or to receive an inside scoop on anything of interest to you, such as cool spots to visit while there, or the local happenings. Better than Google or local 🗞️📰 ~ Absolutely returning! 💎

I’m thrilled that the Marquise Cafe has reopened on treasure Island. The most amazing French croissants and baguettes you can find. The baked goods and the meals are out of this world. What a gem!

It was great to find a small restaurant such as Marquise Cafe where the food is fresh, the service is freindly and the atmosphere maques you feel like you are in cozy house having a great time. I had the Lobster Roll, and a mimosa that was great!! I will definitely come back!

Kid-friendliness: There was all the food ? I love ? the restaurant had a tv ? showing beautiful pictures most people were talking French language. Great place all around there is a beautiful lamp in the table

Let me say that going to a French restaurant is NOT my thing. We were fortunate that a friend gave us a gift certificate to Marquise Cafe. What a wonderful lunch. The soup was something from a Michelin Star restaurant. Our sandwiches were delicious. The service was engaging and wonderful. The French bread in flown in from France. We will definitely make this a regular thing. Average meal is $13. Hard to beat.

It's a cute place for a quick bite. The food is good but very overpriced, in my opinion. Me and my hubby spent $50 on a simple brunch. I feel there are better options in terms of food, service, and ambiance in that price range. The shirred eggs were pretty good, so we might go there once in a while just for that.

My boyfriend and I stop here every weekend on the way to the beach to have brunch. Every time we try something new and it is always sooo good. Always have to get 2 warmed chocolate croissants on the way out too.

My first time there on April 23, 2024, to test the goodness I had heard about their Breton crepes... and there, after years spent in the USA, and having tried a few crepes... especially in the Tampa Bay area... I confirm that these are the best I have ever tasted. Not to mention that the atmosphere is warm and the team welcoming, I can only recommend it 100%. A delightful discovery, good cuisine made by passionate and professional people.

Fantastic experience tonight at this hidden gem! The hosts/ owners are lovely people. The food is authentically French and the chef even shared some of her secret shrimp recipe ? We will definitely be returning soon!

Fabulous food and staff. The owner is very kind authentic. We enjoyed a breakfast and dinner within the same week! Definitely recommend a reservation due to the quaintness. We will definitely be back.
