The Chicago dogs and meatball subs are great but stay away from the pizza here. Unfortunately every time we've ordered it, both thin and thick crust continue to come out very dry and flavorless. It's very disappointing when a Chicago style pizza place produces pizza that tastes like cheap frozen pizza out of a box. Go down the road to Katie's to get delicious pizza but this is the place for dogs. Other than that, the place is very outdated and definitely needs a facelift, both inside and out. They are open limited hours so I'm assuming the funds aren't available for an upgrade. I don't think we'll be back, as there's nothing really special about the place to keep us coming back.
Great food Great service
Thin crust pizza and it is truly thin very good nice remote location
Hole in the wall but great service and amazing pizza
fast and good friendly service
Great food wonderful owner
Legit some of the best pizza I've ever had.
Very convenient location for Southport residents. Really good burgers, chicken and pizza. Plenty of seating inside with a separate game room, including a pool table. Usually never slammed full and the owner and staff all seem really friendly.
Very poor food and the inside is a wreck we walked out after the first bite
Drove up and as I was exiting the vehicle, the gentleman seemed to be quite tipsy. But he proceeded to tell me his computer was not working. He sees me looking around and states yeah the lights are working but my computer isn't. The plumber was here and now the computer doesn't work. Is his computer in the toilet? Any way I said good night and as I turned. He said I might open back up in an hour. I said that was okay don't worry. People what the hell was that? I'm not ever going back. I promise you.
Great pizza. Hot and fresh. Very pleasant customer service. Will be back for more.
I'm a thousand miles from home and hungry for pizza. Stopped in, grabbed a pie, and they did not disappoint me. Excellent pizza and friendly staff. The fried pickle spears were awesome. If you like Chicago style pizza this is where to go.
Drove an hour out of my way because I heard great things about their deep dish pizza... waitress said that it would take a really long time because it was super thick, then said that they were backed up and would be over 45 minuets for anything.., ordered two pizzas, one deep and one thin for my guest. She brought mine out and I said I don’t think that’s mine, she very hastily said “oh yeah, that’s yours” but it wasn’t ANY thicker than the other one. She argued, then kinda agreed ?it was super disappointing because it was my second trip to try this place because the first time they randomly closed three hours early because they were slow.
Trying to call and place a pizza order but they won't answer the phone at 3:00 in the afternoon.
I have loved the food at Frankie D’s. Having said that, I find they have had a tough time staying consistent since Hurricane Michael came calling. Too many times they have been out of one thing or another and no longer make certain once-popular items. I do hope that they can get things back on an even keel.
