Really neat place to eat. I had read reviews about it being over priced but that wasn't my experience. We had the special with French onion soup. It was delicious.

I ordered the Greek cup of soup with a half sandwich, and my wife had a cup of potato soup with a half sandwich. Both were very good—flavorful and satisfying. The atmosphere was really neat, and the service stood out. There was a short wait to be seated, but our waiter made us feel comfortable and even brought a pitcher of sweet tea made with simple syrup (sugar water already melted into the tea), which was a nice touch.

Overall, the food was delicious and fairly unique for a small café. We enjoyed the experience and would definitely go again. That said, the portions felt a bit small for the price. For around $20, I would have expected a whole sandwich and a small side.

Food was mediocre at best- nothing to rave about. Service was horrible (at least our waiter was) another waiter was kind enough to top my water off and drop a pitcher of water at the table. Only reason for 3 stars is because of the setting.

Very cool atmosphere, amazing history that you get to sit and enjoy, there was love music, the staff though was not friendly. Our staff never said hello, never smiled, although was polite. The hostess as well, no smile or welcome. Food was very good and fun to walk around afterwards and learn about the history.

We had a great lunch here while visiting St. Augustine. Very cool historical building, really nice atmosphere and delicious food. I had the Cuban sandwich and my wife had the shrimp pasta. The background music provided by the live guitarist was excellent.

Might be a nice place if you could find it… There are no signs when there is a sign. The door is locked. Then when you ask people for directions three different people gave us the wrong directions which left us walking around and around this building in 100° weather… The heck with it we went somewhere else!

I've been in N Fl for 30 years, did not know the pool was converted to a superb restaurant.

This place is worth the drive to St. Augustine alone. Amazingly beautiful, food was so fresh and delicious! The French onion soup was superb! 10/10 !!!

My 3 girlfriends and I had lunch on a recent Wednesday in July and it was our first visit to this restaurant. The hostess had a serious attitude (“I am well aware of…” was her go to retort) we waited 20 minutes in a far off location as directed until a table was available. Once seated, we waited another 15 minutes. We asked a nearby server if he could help and he stated he was not our server (there were 2 men serving that day). When the party seated near us and AFTER us had their order taken. We approached the hostess again and explained this. Her response: We are very busy”. That is inadequate and does not address our complaint. Then the server who said was not our server and apparently actually was came and took our order.
Ther server (Alan) as not at fault and did a great job. The food was great. The hostess has the wrong job for her.

Such a beautiful experience. Stunning atmosphere and top service. Something really special. They have a few gluten free options and fresh salads. The Sesame shrimp was excellent and the Greek salad lovely. The acoustics are perfect for the relaxing live music. The museum upstairs is must see if you want to experience St Augustine's Spanish architecture and history.

You go here for the uniqueness and the history not the food or service. We went for lunch on a Thursday during the summer and made reservations but they weren't really needed. This feels like a pop up restaurant. There's no real coordination, the servers don't know what they're doing, and the food is average and expensive. But, worth doing once. There was a classical guitarist playing who was very good and fresh flowers on the table.
