Raintree Restaurant

We ate here on a Tuesday night, outside on the patio. It was heaven. The weather was beautiful, so we sat outside, the lights are up, and the vibe was so relaxed and warm. The inside also looks inviting and pretty. The food was amazing and there is quite a variety, even on the kid's menu. We had made reservations but they were able to accommodate us a little earlier which was great. We had the appetizer fries that were delicious, crab bisque, their soup of the day, the raintree salad and more. Our server was so sweet to our boys and he was super helpful. We will definitely be back here next time we come to St. Augustine.

Sat outside; nice atmosphere. Kent was a great waiter — very knowledgeable and attentive! The food was a 10!

We celebrated my 40th birthday at the Rain tree and it was wonderful! The server was very kind and patient. We had a lovely outside table they save for us with lots of space around us. We were very comfortable. While there were no complaints on the food my anyone, I had the rack of lamb it was delicious. I shared a photo I took before I dove into it 😋

Let me open by saying this restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, big open windows and interesting layout. Too bad you can't eat atmosphere.

The food Chicken Zingara and Wedge Steak salad were below average quality. The steak was chewy and flavorless. Waiter or cook forgot the onion rings, then chatted up the next table until we were 1/2 through the meal. No apology or accommodation. Chicken was stringy.

Hostess was rude and short. On my way back from the bathroom 2 waitstaff cut me off in a doorway, like stepped through ahead of me.

The Raintree won't need to worry about winning back our business.

Atmosphere is lovely. I ordered the steak/onion ring salad. The salad was a disappointment. The toppings/onion rings were forgotten. I was never given an apology, just an excuse ‘There is a new guy’. Then our server proceeded to talk to another table for an extended time (not about food, shooting the breeze) before getting my onion rings that were a critical part of my salad. The steak had no flavor and had a chewy texture. I was shocked to see the tip was already added to our bill.

Raintree combined Saint Augustine’s histoic feeling with amazing food. Damion was a great waiter and the food was perfect. Definitely recommend checking it out!

Sorry excuse for a restaurant. Waiter was a snob. Food was inedible. We came in on Thursday Night Oct 30, 2025. Biggest disappointment for a 4.5 rated restaurant!!

We love it here! The staff is friendly, the food is always delicious, and the atmosphere both inside and outside is completely lovely. One of the oldest restaurants in St Augustine for a good reason. Nothing too fancy.

Been to Sunday brunch here a few times. Nice historic building. Prices are definitely a bit high for what you get, but that's the tourism tax. Duck Waffles are excellent. Their home fries are soft and mushy, I don't recommend them. Men's room is too run down for somewhere this pricey. Gratuity is added in here automatically, and our waitress did not disclose this which always rubs me the wrong way.

Lovely atmosphere.. waiter was fantastic and on top of everything with great drink and food selections. Food was incredible.
