This place was great in every way...the food...the view..the vibe....we will be going back every time we visit
Great location, right on the beach. Server Paula was great, fish tacos were tasty but overcooked.
Great place
First off, Morgan was an amazing waitress. The restaurant was slammed and our food still came out incredibly quick. My husband and I split the Blue Parrot seafood platter. We got it fried, it was delicious. (1 crab cake, 2 filets of fish, 5 shrimp, 5 scallops and 5 oysters). The platter came with 2 hush puppies and they were SOOO good. If I ate here again I’d get a basket of hush puppies to go with the platter.
Food was great. The wait was long but that is to be expected.
The only beach front restaurant/bar so expect it to be busy. The atmosphere was nice and relaxing and the service good. The food was just average. Mahi tacos way overcooked and dry. Burger was super dry. I will say the conch fritters and cheese curds were really good. It's a great place for ocean/beach vibes.
Beachfront view with a. Amazing atmosphere. I ordered the fisherman’s platter and it was exceptional. The waitress was very attentive and the food came out quickly. I will definitely return again some day. Highlight restaurant of our trip.
We hit the Blue Parrot before checking in! Fab seafood dinner. What really impressed me was the key lime pie. I’m not a key lime pie eater. It’s usually too tart. This pie was delicious. Hint of key lime and sugar. Perfection.
This is a nice location right on the beach. We sat on the front porch. Unfortunately the flies are a nuisance and my husband was pooped on. Our server was nice. The food, not the best. The shrimp is hard to peel and not seasoned enough. Fish tacos were so so. The jalapeño poppers are decent. Nice for the location, but expect tourist food.
Brilliant spot! From being seated with our pups to having water served up for them and a great waitress. We loved the 2 fried oysters baskets and enjoyed their delicate flavor. We say they were the best fried oysters/hushpuppies we ever had!
Kid-friendliness: Very pup friendly! They are "our kids"

It's the perfect place to spend your evening with your family and friends and enjoy the piping hot jalapeno poppers with Mango daiquiri while admiring the beautiful ocean! The service is prompt and the food and drinks are great! We have tried their Jalapeno poppers, chicken wings and onion rings and they were amazing.

Worst fried shrimp ever with no flavor. Could not have been fresh as advertised. French fries cooked in old oil. Service was excellent. I do not recommend and will never return.

Okay...reviews look great. Maybe I just went on an off night. We were really looking forward to eating at the Blue Parrot. I think maybe my expectations were too high. I ordered a combination seafood platter of blackened tuna and blackened sea scallops. My husband got the blackened Mahi Mahi. My scallops were about the size of a quarter which was surprising because I thought sea scallops would be a bit larger. Sea scallops are my favorite seafood so I have had a lot of them from all over the country and can't think of a single time that they were this small and had a light fishy taste. The first bite was rubbery and I actually spit it out into my napkin. I decided to try one more and it was better but I gave them to my hubby which I had never done before. The tuna was good, tender and tasty. My hubby's Mahi Mahi was good but nothing special. The atmosphere is non-existent except it is on the ocean which saves it from being downright drab...again, just my point of view. Plastic tables and chairs just don't do it for me. The indoor dining area was quite dreary. In summary, the food we had was way overpriced and nothing special. The service and staff were great, however. Try it for yourself, don't just take my word for it. My opinion is definitely in the minority so maybe it's just me.
