Well I'll say it what it is. 8 months ago Mr Freddy and ms Jenn inherited a very difficult situation. But now MR FREDDY and MS JENN are back at there old ways of beautiful homemade Italian cuisine. EVERYYTHING is made fresh the day of service. From pizza to your pasta. COME ON BY FOR A REAL ITALIAN EXPERIENCE.

We chose this restaurant for Valentine’s Day expecting a special evening. Unfortunately, it was anything but.
Despite being seated quickly, we waited nearly an hour for bread and a drinks with little communication from the staff. The dining room felt overcrowded and chaotic, and the service was rushed and inattentive. It was clear the restaurant overbooked for the holiday.
The menu did not justify the premium price. Portions were small, dishes arrived lukewarm, and the overall quality did not match what we’ve experienced here before (or what the pricing suggested). For what was meant to be a memorable evening, it felt transactional and poorly executed.
We understand Valentine’s Day is busy, but planning and execution matter — especially when charging holiday pricing. Sadly, this experience missed the mark.
We won’t be returning.

Out of food at 6pm? Noodles didn't look handmade. Suggest calling first to make sure they have everything on the menu. Waitress and staff were very friendly.
We had great service, great food, and great value! We will be in the area two more weeks and definitely will be back during that time.
The food is very flavorful, great old school atmosphere and the service was good. It takes a little while for the food but, so worth it. So to me all 5 stars!

Very good celery datil soup but eggplant parm and pasta were not so good. Eggplant was over- fried and sauce was sickly sweet. Server was nice and friendly but I had to request the bread and garlic cloves, which menu said came with entrees, and which arrived as we finished up. Had to wait too long for a fork after entrees were served. Sat on patio which was nice (after removal of a ladder lying on floor). Disappointing.

Unfortunately, the food was inedible. The risotto was dry and flavorless, the chicken marsala soggy, and the fettuccine vongole inedible. Even the penne vodka, which was the only enjoyable dish, made one of our family members sick.
Won’t be going back.

We were a party of 7, only 2 tables in our section, yet we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for food which arrived cold. 5 of us were unhappy with our meals. The pasta was completely unacceptable. Fettuccine Alfredo was thick, curdled, and paste-like. Chicken Marsala was dry chicken dumped in a dark, black sauce. Fettuccine Vongole was the worst it tasted like sink/bleach water, rubbery clams, and smelled off. One bite made me feel sick.Other pasta dishes were drenched in water and flavorless. When we complained, we were told the sauté cook had “only been there two weeks.” Not an excuse. Service was poor overall. Yes, they comped the pastas, but that doesn’t fix the experience. I left hungry and it was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner with my family. The only good items were the calamari and bread with butter. With such a small menu, dishes should be perfected. Would not recommend. If I could give a –10, I would.

Food was good, not great. Server was nice- maybe rushed us just a bit. Place did seem a bit aged. The menu had bread and oil that came with the table - it was never offered or served. We were put in the corner (3 of us) next to another table with about 6 people. Would have preferred a bit more open space around us. Current capacity was about 40-50% so there was plenty of room. Food was served in a timely fashion. Our server Ashley was very nice and cordial. Overall good- though not great.

Went to Amici Italian restaurant in St. Augustine tonight. I’ve never been there before, but it’s been on my try list for awhile. I was cautious because I’ve seen several negative reviews lately. Boy were they wrong! The food was absolutely delicious! I had chicken Alfredo with the grilled chicken and my table mate had one of the specials Shrimp Provençal. Both dishes were perfect! They came out timely, hot, and tasty. The fresh bread was also great. The atmosphere was very quaint, intimate, and clean. It was so refreshing to find a decent place that is not a chain. Our waitress was attentive and very helpful. (Great job Amanda!). I’m not sure what people expect or are complaining about, but our first experience was definitely a five star!

Had my first visit here and the food was excellent. I got the shrimp special and my brother got chicken alfredo. Both were absolutely delicious. Far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant was clean and a cute atmosphere and the service was wonderful! Great job Amanda we will be back.

I wanted to like this place. It boasted authentic Italian food, the reviews were overall encouraging, and I was excited to experience it. Hi Although the food was edible, I can’t say it was good either. They were out of many of the things we were wanting to order. What we did order was mediocre at best. Portions were good but taste and overall quality was not. Olive Garden would have been better and cheaper.
