This was a nice lunch spot. We were in town for Christmas and decided to take a trip to the beach for lunch. Saw the reviews for this place and decided to go. There were 12 of us. Ordered some soups, coconut shrimp, lobster, chicken tenders, mac and cheese, conch, drinks and more. Service was great. Overall good. Some of us got sick. We think the oil was old. We took leftovers and ended up throwing it out because it smelled so bad after a few hours.

Not a fish person so not exactly my vibe but the food was tasty and the staff were very attentive. WARNING if you are not used to spicy foods avoid the Datil pepper sauce, it tastes almost sweet so it was easy to palate it but it did a number on our stomachs :(

Food was okay. Was unfortunately not anything special. 20 min wait turned into 40 and it was very loud. It wasn’t horrible, I would just recommend to go earlier. drinks were okay.

Our server was super friendly but also very swamped as she explained they were short staffed, on a Saturday night before Christmas. So you can imagine the delay in getting our food, even a simple juice box for the little took about 30 minutes because she forgot to tell the server to grab one or because he forgot... I'm leaning more towards he might've forgotten. In any case, by the time the food got there, I wasn't as hungry anymore so I took a couple bites and we took most of our food home. No question that the food tasted wonderful and I'd absolutely recommend the place for the food but service really needs to be better. If you don't mind waiting more than an hour for your food then it's totally worth it. I just don't think they're 1+ worthy.

We had to ask three servers for silverware, the food took forever, the food was horrible, and the parking is insufficient.

I was disappointed eating at this place after seeing the high reviews.

We ate at Sunset Grille last week and had the best waiter (Daniel) imaginable. He has a great personality along with knowing his products. My husband and I both ordered the trigger fish with the lime and citrus sauce. It was delicious as was the peanut butter pie. The key lime pie was also tasty.(we shared!) Whenever we visit St. Augustine, we look forward to Sunset Grille

Stopped in for dinner and a couple drinks. A little cool for outdoor dining but they had that covered with nice heaters that were well placed to make for comfortable dining. Service was prompt and pleasant with great suggestions. Food and drinks were great. Nice overall package at a decent price.
Great work team.
