Sunset Grille

My friends and I went to Sunset Grille for dinner while on a bachelorette trip. We received the most amazing service. Our waitress Isabella was an angel! I can’t say enough good things about the service we received from everyone. Not to mention the food was great! 10/10 recommend. 😊

I am not going to say I would not recommend but we won’t be back unfortunately. The hostesses were amazing (VERY sweet girls!) Our waitress was wonderful and our food was delicious. The problem started when we were waiting to be seated, I simply asked the hostess about seating on the rooftop (which was recommended to us by locals) she said the rooftop is closed. I said totally fine! We will sit wherever it just suggested to us so I thought I’d ask about it. No big deal. I was very nice. We were sitting on the bench waiting and a guy (looked to be a manager) came up to the hostess and she said “Hey, why is the rooftop closed?” And nothing else. She didn’t say people were asking or wanted to sit there, simply asked why. Not because I asked , I never asked why. He said something to the effect of “Because it’s 100 degrees outside” (and it was. No argument from us again) he said “tell them they can go on down the street to the Irish pub and eat” very condescending and snapping his fingers. I’m assuming he didn’t realize we were sitting right there or he just didn’t care. It was just so rude and uncalled for. Not great customer service to recommend people go eat somewhere else. Again, everyone else was absolutely wonderful and our food was good. Just please be mindful to your customers and not make rude comments while they are sitting right in front of you.

Amazing food and the peanut butter pie there is amazing 🤩

We have been at least 10 times. Every time was amazing.

Sunset grill is a place my wife and I stumbled upon some ten years ago as we were looking for a good seafood restaurant when we were dating.

We continue to go there for date nights as a married couple as they never disappoint, food is always good, service is always good and the prices are reasonable.

Best peanut butter pie ever

Cool place, but don't get the too late for dinner, or you will be waiting a while... very popular! Our food was very good. It came out quickly and hot. We had the Crab Fries, the Grouper, and the Burnt ends Bowl. The Mojitos were delicious.

Good food, price was fair, servuce was pretty good.. the upstairs was nice enough, but not a great beach view, being a few blocks off.

Great view and lots of options for dinner. They were able to seat our group of 12 together

The oysters were really good. The service was good. The view was great. We will definitely stop by next time we are in the area.

You can tell some waiters and managers have been there long enough to not stay up with the times with customer service. Horrible service if you are looking for quality servers this is not the place. I saw a manager get into a fight with a client because of his baby’s stroller.

Order a shrimp poBoy was looking forward to it and it’s not a Po-boy!! Charge you 16 dollars for shrimp on small piece of bread! Expressed my displeasure and explained I’m from Louisiana and it’s not a PO-Boy, was told it was their version. If YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO MAKE ONE don’t put it on the menu!! Call it a shrimp sandwich!!! They didn’t even put the condiments on it either!! They brought it to me to put on that’s just LAZY!!

I can always count on enjoying the service and food when at Sunset. The manager Dominic is great and has a great staff. They're attentive, helpful, timely, professional and polite. The bussers are so wonderful and keep everything cleared, kitchen is consistent, servers (every time) are knowledgeable and anticipate everything. You guys are doing great! Can't wait to dine in again.
