We love coming here when travel to the beach! It is always a must to eat here. We love the sushi and hibachi. Servers are great. Can't say enough great things about this gem of a restaurant.

this was my first time in st augustine and we went to sushi zento on a whim seeing as there was pretty good reviews online. i am so glad we decided to come here! the service was excellent and the food was so SOOO delicious! the sashimi was so fresh and just melts in your mouth! the rolls were excellent and everything we ordered was just overall amazing!! they’ve earned a new lifetime customer!

We had an absolutely amazing waitress named Katie. She was bright and kind and knowledgeable. Absolutely fantastic service, super kind. And the food just topped off the whole experience, the hibachi was cooked perfectly, the sushi roll (Phoenix roll) was fantastic. Wonderful experience we will definitely visit on our next vacation as well!

Lovely dining experience while we were on vacation. Took a few minutes to get seated since we were there during a Friday night for dinner. There were about 7 tables available in the place when we arrived and only 2 people were seated at the sushi bar.

Staff members were polite and personable. Our waitress (Angie?) was very efficient and attentive.

For drinks, we ordered green tea without milk, 1 honeydew, and 1 peach. Tea was on the sweet side, but the ice helped mellow it out.

Soup and salad were included with dinner. Soup was clear mushroom broth. Salad was simple and fresh - lettuce, stringed carrots, a few slices of cucumber and tomato, mixed with house dressing.

For dinner, my husband ordered filet mignon & salmon filet. I ordered the sashimi deluxe with a side of rice. The fish was fresh, and my husband enjoyed the filet mignon.

Facilities were very clean, even the restrooms. The only complaint that we had with our visit was the occasional strong smell of bleach that hit the air when a table was cleared. Not sure if that's just a ventilation issue or using extremely strong cleaning products. Either way, the odor mildy interrupted our dining experience, but didn't ruin it since it dissipated a few minutes after noticing it.

Excellent date night spot with fresh food and great prices. The entire dinner cost about $80, excluding a generous tip. We'd come back again if we're in the area. 100% recommend.

The server was nice but 2 sets of people sat before us were served way before us. The sushi was okay-ish. The fried rice was nasty. I couldn’t eat it. The hibachi chicken was decent and the veggies were good.

There are very few things that I would change to make the experience better, the menu allows you to try more of a variety of sushi for a good price.

The BEST sushi around! Huge selection of basic and specialty rolls as well as sashimi/sushi pieces which were so fresh and flavorful (had the eel and octopus this time, had the mackerel and surf clam before and they were just as yummy). A big THANK YOU to our server, Katelynn, she was fantastic. Very personable and stopped by exactly when we needed, she really made our dining a wonderful time. We love this place, highly recommended and 10 stars!
