We are from up north, and most of the crab in our 2 dozen were too small to even eat. There were females mixed in, which is never done back home. You could tell they had just changed their shells because they were soft. Inside was filled with water and soggy. Maybe they are out of season here?

So good! My husband wanted crab legs and I wanted shrimp so we did the snow crab and shrimp combo. I can’t say enough how wonderful this food was! We didn’t have proper utensils to eat the crab at the place we were staying but that didn’t stop us, we did what we had to in order to eat every last bit. Highly recommend and definitely recommend to check where you’re staying for crab crackers, etc. if you’re from out of town lol.When I when to pick up the food for us, the owner was and he was very nice. I can tell this is a local business that takes customer service very seriously. We will be ordering on our next trip!

Hole in a wall joint for take out seafood. Great seafood and very inexpensive. I visit my mother every other year every other year in ormond beach from Chicago. Everytime we visit St Augustine i always get seafood from here. Either blue crabs or shrimp platter. The one begative i would say would be they close early at 7pm. We'd have to leave Downtown St Agustine early enough to make there by 7. Traffics downtown is horrendous and pain to find parking again.

1st Time trying this place, we heard about them on a Marylander group! My step Dad surprised this evening with 2 Dozen Blue Crabs we so excited, You could just smell the OldBay, we were so happy to dig into these crabs - So delicious! We ate almost everyone of them but we have a few left for my Mom to make her awesome Crabsoup All 3 of us and the dog enjoyed these Blue Crabs! Excited to see what else is on the Menu! We got Take out!

We had family come in from the UK and my nieces were so looking forward to cracking some crab, but our local place is closed. We usually spend a few days in Saint Augustine while they're here. We found A1A Crab House and were happy enough with the reviews to give it a shot. One reviewer said the operator makes you feel like family and I couldn't agree more. Big, delicious blue crab at a very reasonable price. Incredibly friendly service. We'll be making this a part of our yearly family tradition from now on. Thank you for making our vacation special! See you next year! (Maybe sooner. :)

I visited A1A crab house yesterday. I ordered 1-1/2 doz jumbo crabs done chesapeake style. Let me tell you they were beyond delicious and steamed to perfection. This is not my first trip to A1A. The owner, Naveed, is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable people I've dealt with. A visit and order here is definitely worth your TIME and MONEY!!! When you have a hankering for quality crabs A1A Crab House should be your choice!!Lenny
