Everything here is delightful and made gluten free, refined sugar free, and I believe dairy free as well! Some items have eggs. Their house made avocado toast is insane!

Love this bakery & cafe! They have so many GF and vegan options daily. We also like to pick up the pies and take/bake cinnamon rolls for holidays. Not a lot of seating inside but during non-peak times it's great to sit and enjoy the treats.

I am always on the look out for gluten free bakery’s when I visit places. This bakery is top notch❣️Everything has been so delicious so far. The pecan bars are like eating pecan pie but not as sweet as pecan pie, but just the right sweetness❣️The brownies are very rich and delicious. The coffee cake was so good we took some to go🤩.

Great atmosphere and nice selection of gluten free and vegan items. Coffee and smoothies were good. I thought the bakery items were a bit dry and not as tasty as other vegan bakeries I’ve been to. Recommend trying for yourself though!

We love Alms + Fare because of all the awesome gluten free options and DELICIOUS pastries. If they stuck to coffee and tea drinks they would be working with the perfect business model. But *dramatic pause* enter the smoothie. If the person ahead of you in line orders a smoothie you might as well go home. Their blender must not work because I watched the poor barista have to basically hand smash each berry with this long stick-like object just to get the blender to co-operate. If they order avocado toast? Don't come back until next week. If you return any earlier, the poor girl will probably still be in the back corner slicing each tomato individually and salting the avocado with her tears. Just pre-slice the tomatoes and keep them in the fridge ladies!
Don't get me wrong. We love Alms + Fare, and it's food is delicious, but we just can't come here any more if we have anything happening within an hour of our visit. Also, I think it's time to move to a larger space. You have such a successful business model and the demand is HERE in St. Augustine. You just need a space that corresponds with the demand.
You rock. Just prep some of the food items beforehand, and get a couple more good blenders. And move to a bigger space. When you can. Love y'all. Peace.

Everything we tried was amazing. But that avocado toast- the sweet and spicy? Good lord I haven’t tasted anything like it before! Incredible! Highly recommend. Their lattes are also fantastic and wholesome ingredients make this the perfect quaint place for your sweet or savory tooth while in St Augustine.
