VERY disappointed! I came to check out the cupcakes to see if I wanted them for my daughter’s birthday. They were okay so I ordered some. PLEASE make sure they confirm with you because I paid with my credit card and didn’t hear from them again. I assumed everything was A okay. When I showed up to pick the cupcakes up, they not only did not have them ready, but they made me wait a long time so they could call the owner. The result? I was not given cupcakes and they wanted me to show them my credit card statement. Unfortunately I paid for it last month and my phone doesn’t allow me to see the previous months so I left empty handed even though I paid for them. WORST customer service I have experienced anywhere. I highly do NOT recommend doing business with them. There are many businesses that do a better job with quality, taste and customer service in Saint Augustine.

Cute little bakery/coffee shop. My husband sent me for “something with chocolate chips” and I was able to bring home three options: banana chocolate chip bread, chocolate chip pumpkin bread and a giant cookie. Actually the cookie didn’t make it back- that was amazing.

Had a return. The owner was kind and helpful. Their pie crust is amazing. Just had an issue with the filling. Figure it was because of the Holiday rush since everything we have purchased before was great.

This little coffee shop in Saint Augustine has the best coffee in town. Their veggie galettes are delicious, and the service is excellent.

Awful service but good food. There were 2 baristas working out front. We ordered and waited. The one baristas friends came in and she spent 15 minutes talking with her about the parties they went to last night and getting her a latte while 3 of us who were there before still were waiting. Then another barista came in complaining about how hungover she was and asked the original for a hair tie. They both did their hair, didn’t wash their hands then went back to making toast, bagels and lattes. The new barista went in the back, got dizzy and fell because she was so hungover, when the barista in the front heard she had to go back in see so there was 1 person in the front and 4 in the back talking. It was awful. The girl who got sick still got her coffee before people waiting and went home. We along with 4 other parties waited over 30 minutes for coffee. The only redeemable worker was the short curly haired one. I want to say her name was aria based on the photos.
On a more positive note, this was the best gluten free bagel I’ve bought out and the pumpkin scone was so yummy! The latte was fine but my husbands Americano tasted just like boiling water.

Food is good, but don't go here during a busy time, like the morning, expecting to get a coffee in anything under 20 minutes. The shop had one professional barista working her butt off while the other two barristas lazily worked through coffee orders while talking to a friend who walked in at least 5 minutes after us, never ordered but got a matcha latte before the other paying customers who began to fill the cramped shop.

An outstanding “Gluten Free” line of foods to select from and very good coffees/beverage selection. Go by and experience this place: it’s very good.

As someone with Celiac Disease, it is so wonderful to be able to walk in to a bakery and know that I can eat anything and everything -- Alms & Fare allows me to do just that. Not only do they provide an amazing variety of Celiac-safe options, everything is absolutely delicious! The bagels are huge, soft and chewy...just perfect! The selection of sweet treats is amazing and one is better than the next. Fabulous!!

First time visiting. The counter ladies were so kind in offering their advice on different items. The food was yummy as well as the latte. Love that their products are gluten and diary free ❤️

Adorable little coffee & bakeshop across the street from the entrance of the Fountain of Youth! Their drip was good and I had a pumpkin chai bun to go with it. I love that they sweeten their baked with less refined, natural sweeteners. Sometimes baked goods can get a little “too sweet” so this was just the perfect amount of sweetness to let the spices and other flavors shine through. Great place to get some work done, too! 😀

It’s so odd I used to love this bakery but the past few months everything has become dryer and blander. The coffee cake now lacks flavor and is very dense, the Twix bars are now bland and lacks some flavor, like it’s missing a key ingredient. Not sure if there’s a new baker or change to recipe, but it’s off now.

Before heading to Saint Augustine for my birthday, I looked up bakeries that had vegan options. So delighted that I found Alms Fare. I ordered my Birthday cake to pick up while in town. Bakery was charming and got get assistance. Cake was a huge hit with my doubtful Brother-in -Law. Cake was chocolate with caramel option. They decorated with flowers and added Birthday wish. Definitely would order agin! 😋
