Service was excellent, and if you are a fan of sea food (and I mean real sea food), you'll like this place a lot. Smaller portions as the dishes are "fancier".

We do not visit St. Augustine nearly as much as we used to due to the surplus of tourists. My husband's colleague suggested this restaurant when we visited overnight. My hubs is not a fan of seafood but his colleague and myself are so we chose the happy medium. We put our name down for another restaurant and stopped here for drinks and an appetizer while we were waiting. We were greeted immediately by a host. We decided to grab a drink at the bar and then decided to sit at a table so we could indulge in an appetizer and be comfortable. The bar was packed but the restaurant tables were empty for the most part. We decided to split the Frito Misto so hubs could have the veggies. It tasted fresh and was actually enough for the three of us. I was hoping to visit here again but just noticed they were permanently closed. It truly is unfortunate because I really thought the food and service were great.

Are they closed? Don't answer phone and went by there and no sign on door, lights off during hours

Visited this restaurant while on vacation. Great looking place and atmosphere was nice. Our seafood risotto lacked flavor. We usually order risotto if on menu when we eat out and have to say sadly it lacked flavor for both wife and I. Appetizers was good and drinks also good. Service was great.

Excellent, from my initial conversation with the owner to rent the restaurant during off hours for my sons Rehersal dinner. The communication, follow through, and tip service from all staff members was truly amazing. The food, sauce, dessert and wine was more than expected. I have 30years experience in the business and they truly exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much for being so accommodating.

Whatever you do, do not order the rigatoni special. Overcooked chewy steak and tomato sauce from a jar. Food here is WAY overpriced. Server was nice.

Food was great, service was great, ambiance was great! Pricey but huge portions and seriously amazing. Well worth it for fine dining date night we loved it. Will definitely be back!!

Very good restaurant. Food fully met expectations. Had the starter of ahi tuna, octopus, salmon. Great. Server provided a good wine pairing for meal. Scallop entree and filet mignon were very good. Really enjoyed the meal and restaurant.

Can't beat the atmosphere and ambiance if you like open, airy and bright. Our secondary waiter was engaging, welcoming and delightful our primary, though she was pleasant was not nearly... but all business. The food (Grouper & Lamb) was just ok. A bit to much salt on the fish and the mustard on the Lamb was obtrusive. Beet salad presentation was not a presentation just arugula spread on a plate with less than stellar chunks of two beet types. I actually liked the horseradish-like avocado. I asked for a small bowl or sample of pasta with marinara. Its an Italian restaurant that makes pasta in the front window as an attraction. Our primary waiter wouldn't do it stating “we make it as a whole entree” no small portions. An Italian restaurant that won't make you pasta is mind boggling to me. Because of that policy I'll stay away. Maybe in a few more years they'll be proud enough of their pasta and sauce to know that a sample leads to a purchase. Until that time I'm going to an Italian restaurant.

Dinner and service were exceptional! We started with the bread service which was delicious, although a lot for 2 people. If only 2 of you, ask for the olive oil on the side so you can take the leftovers home! My husband ordered the Escape Artist, a wine braised octopus, which was fabulous. I had the lobster cannelloni, and while it was a lot for one person, I ate every bite, it was delicious!! For dessert we shared the lemoncello cake, to which my husband said it was the best cake he'd ever had. For the quantity and quality of the food, prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend.

The tuna tartare appetizer was so bland I had to ask for some basalmic glaze just so it would have some flavor to it. The rigatoni had whole black peppercorns in it and my husband was having to spit them out between bites and the filet mignon pieces were tough. We had water to drink and the bill was $60. We were expecting a nice Italian meal like we would get in NYC and a meal at Burger King would have been much more appetizing!

After eating at all of the "name" restaurants in town, have to say enjoyed this one the most. Superb food, service and ambiance. You should try it.

Went last night, and unfortunately my husband's lobster was heavily undercooked. He ate a few bites and realized, so he got queasy and left the restaurant. After I pointed it out they offered to take it back and recook it. We paid and left.

Great staff, awesome food. We each tried a different special and both were prepared to perfection. Let staff select a wine pairing and you will not be disappointed.
