Ancient City Brewing - Downtown Taproom

Beers were not bad, atmosphere was just a bit meh and run-down. Staff was friendly, even though they were pretty understaffed (only one barkeeper on a very busy evening between Xmas and NYE).

Would still choose it any day over the plethora of touristy bars.

We were with our three year old daughter and she didn't care about it. Very rude. If she interacts with people like that the brewery will be empty soon. -100% recommended

Dive-bar-vibe brewery, right on the Plaza de la Constitucion in historic St Augustine. Decent selection of brews and great staff. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the historic district or on your brew hop in St Aug!

0/10 if I could rate. The bartender that was working at 4:10 Pm on 12/10/24 that had two toned hair with white ends was absolutely rude!!!!! Bought two beers and asked a few questions about the beers and just responded with a tone like it wasn’t her job to help us and she was acting like we were bothering her. Rolled her eyes and gave attitude when we wanted our drinks to go as we were eating next door. It’s the holidays and would expect better attitude/ energy but was so rude. Would not recommend going, just go to another bar because this place and that woman just set the tone for our first visit to Saint Augustine / our first visit Florida. Absolutely diabolical attitude and very disappointed

No water in the bathrooms and urine all over the floor. The bar smelled like mildew. Walked in and walked right back out. We have visited Ancient City Brewing years ago and loved it. We will probably pass up Ancient City and continue to another local brewery next time.

What a great place! We are from Ft.Lauderdale and brought our dog Kitty with us. Our bartender Dani was so friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be visit again soon! Dani you rock! Thanks for being so great!

Went to ancient city brewery twice during our stay in St Augustine. My wife had the blueberry ale and I had the potter and the orange ale. Everything was great

I’ve been to a lot of breweries and bars all across the United States, but I’ve never found a bartender better than Cozette. She’s worth the trip to St Augustine.
