My friends and I visited this location twice this past weekend, both times, everything was amazing. Great service, wonderful food, & great conversation with the owner and chef. I’m still thinking about those cheese grits!

Atmosphere, coffee, and employees ALL top notch! Would recommend to anyone in the area.

The eggs, bacon and potatoes were good. Would have liked our waitress to explain the menu better. I ordered a Latte for $5, wasn't hot or a full cup. When she came back with regular coffee for our table I asked for some. I was charged $3.50 more, so $8.50 for 2 cups of coffee. The pancakes were very small for a Charge of $15. Not what we expected.

Super disappointed!! When we we seated there were only a handful of other customers in the restaurant so I am not sure why it took over 40 minutes to receive our food!! We were excited about getting “brunch” but bummed to find out they were “out of French toast and eggs Benedict but there were other items we were happy to order. The lattes we ordered were TERRIBLE, we did not drink them and there was not even an offer to remove from the bill. Then we ended up waiting over 40 minutes for our waffles, bacon and potatoes. I asked the waitress while ordering if one order of the bacon and potatoes would be enough for one or two people since everything is a la cart and she informed me that it was only enough for one person….FALSE!!! Not sure if she said that because she does not know what a “serving size” is or if she was trying to upcharge our bill. One order of bacon and potatoes is MORE THAN ENOUGH for two people!!! The one good thing about this restaurant was the food…it was AMAZINGLY GOOD! However I most likely won’t be back because the negative completely outweighs the one good thing! So disappointing but luckily it was the only negative thing during our amazing trip to St Augustine!!! Also their listed phone number online is a non working number and the directions by goggle maps is not accurate and when mentioned this to the gentleman seating is his reply was “yeah we know”.

Water is gross, food portions are small and over priced, service was not great for the price. 12$ for a handful of fruit is a joke

Ancient City Brunch Bar is an absolute gem in the heart of downtown St. Augustine. Aside from the adorable art deco-esque atmosphere, they are serving up serious flavor here. Their brunch cocktail menu is unique and the drinks are a flavor explosion. The food is so flavorful and artisan crafted and plated. The value is unmatched. Don’t miss this location!

Never got to eat we walked in at 1:30 pm yesterday their times say they are open until 3:30 and their chalk board said “Brunch all day” till 4 pm and we asked to be seated they said they were only seating reservations so we sat at the bar. Then we asked for the menu and they informed us that the kitchen was closed preparing to reopen at 4 pm! Hope the owner knows that their staff are closing the restaurant early and indeed they aren’t serving food past 1:30 pm.🥲

This is a bit different take on a brunch restaurant; all the dishes are served on a charcuterie board and brought to your table. The menu (Tablet) has quite a few breakfast combinations on it. The service was fast and friendly even during a hectic Thanksgiving weekend rush. We opted for a hummus started which came with cucumber, celery and cracker. Super tasty and fresh! We opted for a "Pick your own" breakfast with eggs, bacon and home fries. Everything was tasty(Though I misse some butter or marmalade with the biscuits)The Belgium waffles I ordered as a side was toasted really hard and seemed to have a layer of sugar on them making the overly sweet. Overall a nice experience and definitely a place to look up next time you are in the area.

Went to B&B one evening with my wife and it was absolutely phenomenal. So we decided to try brunch there today, and it was like a totally different place. Our waitress forgot about us, they didn’t have the latte my wife wanted, and the food was basic and small for the price. We had planned on getting some cocktails and enjoying the ambiance but there was none. Honestly very disappointed, i was a big fan of this place.

The concept of this restaurant is different, but not a good different. The food is served on boards, all together. All the separate orders from one table are all placed on the same board. Something that can only work for a 1-4 person table. We had a 12 person table, all of our orders were mixed up on different boards and just placed in the center of the table with no instructions from the bussers who brought the food. Once everybody had their actual plate, the food was already cold. In all honesty our waitress gave us excellent service, but then the food was brought by bussers who had no idea where the food was going and just dropped off the boards in the center of the table without saying or explaining anything. On top of that there was missing plates. Like I said when we finally got to eat, everything was cold. We felt sorry for the waitress who did her job correctly. Most importantly the food was pretty basic. I never take the time to write reviews but this time it felt absolutely necessary.

Shockingly awful. Deserves a zero but had to give one star. Service was the worst I have experienced in several years. When our coffees arrived no spoons were provided. After asking 3 times it was finally delivered. After 25 minutes my wife had to rise from the table and find a waiter and ask for him to take our food order. The response “yeah whatever”. At that point we nearly walked out but I was now hungry and maybe interested to see how bad this could get. Another waitress came and took an order. A note for the manager - your staff are inefficient and ineffective, they wander around aimlessly and certainly with no purpose. When our food was delivered, “enjoy”. How? No napkin or cutlery provided. So the positives. Food was good and expensive, but expected due to central location. Coffee was okay. I get the experience they are trying to do, but falling way short in the service side.

This was my 2nd year coming, last year you were in the smaller location. Last year when we ordered drinks it came with cute little faces on top of the foam with friendly atmosphere. This year I absolutely love the new location but it was slightly lacking in food and drinks. The French toast sticks taste like the ones frozen or from Burger King to be honest, everything else was excellent. And when the drinks came out no faces or anything. Not a huge thing, but it's sometimes the little things. It was the day after thanksgiving so everyone I'm sure would rather be home.

Food was pretty good. Im giving 3 stars because the service was awful. The restraunt was not in the weeds..multiple empty tables.
The gentleman who seated us looked like a manager...got us our waters ( 4 people in our party).
Took about 10 mins for a server to come over. Ordered our drinks ( 1 Martini and 1 Coca cola) and food at same time. Food came out in reasonable time but server never brought our 2 drinks out. We waited for plates and silverware. Got the plates still no drinks. Finally got the 2 drinks, all the while we watched 2 tables get up and leave because they were never approached by server.
They need to fix this. It seems this is a first time restraunt operation.
No dedicated front of house, but 2 bartenders for 3 people at bar.
Manager who sat us ended being our server as well since our female server never came back after taking our order. It was a wreck.
They get that fixed it would be great place
