I drove downtown from the island to get some coffee. I had every intention of going somewhere else, but I found a parking spot near ancient City. I came inside. It was very crowded and that's fine. The woman working the front counter was absolutely lovely.... I ordered two coffees, one blueberry muffin, and one quiche Lorraine... My bill was over $40... My quiche came in a paper bag. I don't check prices when I'm picking up a quick snack. Mostly because I don't expect it will be $40. Maybe I accidentally paid for the person before me? Microwave quiche and a muffin with 2 coffee.... I waited 20 min for that. I'm so confused.Ancient city brunch bar...Please tell me that there was some sort of mistake. I have pictures of my $40 meal ?The breakfast "charcuterie boards" are a nice idea. They look beautiful. But here's an example of the board.# your order...I would like waffle, bacon, and egg... You get four quarters of a waffle, four pieces of microwave bacon, and one microwave egg, each of those things cost $12. You are a cute little bored just cost $36!!!Nice idea, very poor execution. And yes. I AM extremely salty over the price of my order. This business is not sustainable and does not deserve to exist.

Expensive little place. I just wanted an egg and cheese on whole wheat, and that was $15 - no side included. I was disappointed because the egg did not appear to be real but was likely one of those carton liquid eggs. For this price, I would at least like to see quality ingredients. The black tea was not strong enough to wake me up but I did appreciate a mug instead of the single use cup.The presentation was beautiful and my husband enjoyed his waffle + the kids loved the French toast. Loved that we didn’t contribute any waste since food was served with real plates, utensils and mugs.

Amazing presentation. Fluffy, cloud-like quiche. French toast and Belgian waffles with whipped cream and a dribble of chocolate was like eating dessert. Waitstaff very welcoming and fast.
The best latte I had in a very long time! It was prepared with love and great beans which were roasted locally, full and round in flavor with low acidity. Just the way I like my coffee drinks to taste. Combined with a bagel served with attention for detail and a generous helping of cream cheese. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. A place to return to when I return to beautiful, historic St. Augustine.

Very very expensive without the value. Bagel sandwich was $15 dollars for a small portion of microwaved eggs and bacon. The latte was very good though. Bagels were so so but $6 an la cadre. Atmosphere is nice. Location is great so maybe we paid for convenience. The owner needs to re visit the prices. Absolutely not worth the price.
Great presentation, awesome vibe and definitely a local kinda feel. You can tell they love what they do and it shows in all they do! Great

The place exudes charm with its cozy atmosphere, but the mimosas lacked the expected zest, and the cheese didn't quite match the overall charm, leaving room for improvement in the culinary experience.

It would have been a nice experience, but we felt very unwelcomed by one of the staff members. It seems like she was in a hurry for us to leave. We ordered a hot chocolate and a latte and they had no milk, we asked for orange Juice as replacement and they didn’t have anymore...charged for berries and they were nowhere to be found. I didn’t finish eating because of how uncomfortable I felt. Besides, too expensive for breakfast.
