My daughter and I stop by for a quick lunch and loved it! I had a Greek salad with delicious grilled shrimp and my daughter had a gyro platter. Highly recommend it!

I wasn’t sure what to expect. The food ended up being some of the best I’ve had in a while. The hummus and peta was exceptionally good. The gyro meat was seasoned wonderfully. We had server, her name was Karma. She said she was new but she was so attentive, helpful and friendly. Im 5 months pregnant and I was really hungry and happy we went. Next time I’m back in the area I will definitely visit again!

Just about the only authentic Greek place left in St. Augustine. Went in on a nice Sunday afternoon and got the gyro. Yum, yum, yummy, yum, yum! Don’t know if It’s cut directly off the loaf like you would get at a really busy place in a big city, but it’s thick and juicy and plentiful. Lots of tzatziki sauce (on the side)and fresh veggies. The diners around me were enjoying what looked like real Greek dishes of lamb, souvlaki, etc. The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. All are welcome.

Stopped in for lunch. Ashley took care of us. She offered great suggestions and was very attentive. Food was great. The last time we had lunch in St Augustine we went to Columbia Restaurant because of all the favorable reviews. The food at Athena was far superior.

I wish I could leave it 0 stars. 100% in the top 5 of worst places I have ever eaten at. The food lines looked like it was just thrown on the plate and microwaved (not exaggerating).
Gyro meat is supposed to be thinly shaved. What we got were few one inch thick pieces just thrown on the plate. Spend your money somewhere else, these people are not even trying.

Ashley was excellent! Food was excellent! First time coming here and food was delicious. I had the chicken souvlaki and lemon Greek potatoes and I highly recommend those.

Food was absolutely fabulous! Felt sorry for the gentleman doing the front of the house - he was the host, waiter, & bus boy for the whole lunch crowd. I would recommend this place for sure

The service was excellent. The decore was nice and the wall murals were lovely. The food was amazing! We had the cheese flambé as appetizer, and it was delicious. I had the Greek combo dinner which included spanakopita, moussaka, pasticio, and Greek salad. All of it was very yummy. I’ve tasted other’s, and have made moussaka and pasticio before and this food was so much better than any I’ve had. The baklava for dessert was also very good. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I would gladly eat here again.

Tasted like a lot of pre-made food straight from Sysco or some other low quality food distributor. Grape leaves were hard, had a chalky interior, and tasted canned. Gyro meat was undercooked and seemed to come from a gyro cone made in a far away factory. Salad was warm. Dressing was typical mass-produced nonsense made with soybean or canola oil. Not a good experience.

We went to the restaurant twice this week. Friday, and Sunday. Friday it wasn't open at 11:00, so we went to another restaurant. We went by today, Sunday at 11:10, and they weren't open. I called, and they said 15 minutes. Twenty minutes later, still not open. We were very disappointed.
