Great service and generous entree portions. Although if you craving for the hummus do not order the Hummus platter because you will be disappointed with the portion.
Absolutely disgusting food. Came with a party of 6, and nobody finished their plate. Food was old and clearly microwaved -- luke warm in parts and cold in others. It wasn't just bland and gross, but dangerous for introducing food poisoning due to unsanitary practices. Some of us now feel sick after eating there, and my son is currently throwing up in the other room as I write this review. Do not risk eating here.
Great food and atmosphere. Ashley did a great job as our server and was polite and helpful.
The staff was amazing and so account a busy Friday night. The food was delicious, and it arrived so quickly!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in St. Augustine. We go every time we're in town. After coming for 20 years, it's as good as the first time I visited.
I had the worst experience ever we ordered a Greek salad me and my son and my husband, and we ate from that salad all of us we had diarrhea and food poisoning
I asked for a side of rice. It was six dollars for 4 tablespoons of rice and the fish that I ordered was frozen fish. It tasted so bad.
I used to go there for 15 years
Sorry
Not anymore
My visit to the restaurant was TERRIBLE. We ordered a salad and I could tell the vegetables were old. After leaving we all felt sick and had diarrhea for two days straight. This restaurant has a serious problem with cleanliness and bacteria. Do not go to this restaurant.
Amazing and authentic Greek food. Please come here!!
Loved the flaming cheese!
In St. Augustine, by the sea,
Lies The Athena, a gem so free.
With fast, friendly service, oh so sweet,
Peter's efficiency can't be beat!
His humor sparkles like the Florida sun,
With witty quips that make dining fun.
From appetizers to desserts so divine,
Each dish is crafted, perfectly fine.
The ambiance buzzes with warmth and cheer,
A haven of flavors that draws you near.
So if culinary delights are what you seek,
The Athena’s the spot—let your taste buds speak!
With Peter's charm and skills so rare,
You’ll leave with a smile, as light as the air.
So gather your loved ones for a memorable night,
At The Athena, everything feels just right!

I don't have much to say that's nice so I'll keep it short. No ac in the building. Bathrooms are about as big as a walk in closet. The food is way over priced for what you get. It doesn't taste that great either. The Pepsi I ordered came to the table flat. There was absolutely no carbonation to it. Everything was just awful. Almost everything is 15 dollars. They force add an 18% tip on your bill. Which is obnoxious. 0 option to not tip for poor service and poor quality, over priced food to sit in a sauna.
0/10 I don't recommend going here.

Paid $100 dollars for dinner and the party in the back of the restaurant was acting like it was a bar room the whole time. Hooting and hollering. No management present at all

We were walking historic district. Saw this small quaint diner and went in , pleasantly surprised. One of the best Gyros on the East Coast. Make sure you add the Feta option. Enjoyed the many Greek beer choices!
